another winner!

although it took me a bit to stop wanting Grayson to be more like Benjamin... when i finally got past my own desires.. i found that i really like Grayson. All three books were very good. the third being my favorite. How Nathen hasnt lost his mind while trying fit all the jumping and avoiding paradoxs. then again... maybe a little mental instability is his secret.
Well done Nathan. Thanks for all the hours of enjoyment!

Couldn't put it down... Great read & narration!

I enjoyed the original books (Ben Travers et al), and was really happy to find these follow up stories. All 3 books were included and I loved them all. I was happy to find that each of the stories were unique and not just the same story re-written with a slight twist. These are well written syfy genre mysteries, and not just another lot of poorly written cliche detective stories. I fully enjoyed them and read all three in just a few days. The narrator was really good! He did all the different voices and if the character was eating and talking it the story, you could hear that in the narration. Looking forward to the next installment! Thanks!

Fantastic Books!

These are the kind of time travel books that I crave. The characters are well-rounded, the writing is clever, and the narration was superb! Highly recommended!

Fantastic series, great value!

The first book in this series was recommended to me by someone who knows that I love time-travel stories. I went ahead and bought books 1-3, since it cost the same (one credit), and I'm so glad I did!

The first book does a great job bringing you into the world of the characters. The story starts out simple, and then gets more complicated and compelling as the plot thickens. That being said, I never found it difficult to follow. The author does a great job of giving just the right amount of information to keep the reader/listener engaged without crossing the line into overwhelming exposition.

I truly enjoyed book one, and then book two started. A completely different (future) setting, which I've seen other authors do poorly… Not so in this case! I actually think I enjoyed book two more than book one, which I was not expecting. Once again, a well-told, compelling story that I thoroughly enjoyed. It continued to build the world that just brought me in more and more. By the time book three started, I was hooked.

Book three was a classic whodunnit with a time-travel twist, and I. was. here. for. it. It had just the right amount of tease for things to come without giving away too much. I must say: Nathan Van Coops is an amazing storyteller.

I see that there is a book four, and I'm ready to devour it right away!

I HIGHLY recommend this series to anyone who enjoys mysteries and/or time-travel stories. It's truly unique and 100% worth an Audible credit. Don't hesitate to add this to your collection!

Better than I expected

I needed something to listen to on a flight so got this 3 book story. The first book was kinda slow but the second two were pretty good. They actually surpassed my expectations for them. I like the time traveling components of the stories. They are handled very well. I didn't find any glaring issues or inconistancies with them and the author makes sure to tie up loose ends created by some of the time travel which is good. Granted I figured out "who done it" well before the reveal but the stories were still enjoyable because there was always some twist that I didn't anticipate. I am not sure the narrator is the voice of the protagonist. I have a different voice in my head for the protagonist. But the characters were all believable and this is some good PI story fare. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Engaging, fun Time travel PI series.

If you like time travel, mystery and private detective books you will love this one. Really good first person narrative of the life of Greyson Travers as he solves one mystery after another. It has an old world PI feel to it, yet reveals a glimpse of future tech. AI assistants, time travel paradox, androids, and back to good ol fashion tech enhanced muscle cars. This series also links back to Nathans other series, In Time like these. I'm gonna stop here as I do not want to reveal any spoilers. The Audible narration itself is also A+ - highly recommended!!!

Great Time Travel Detective series

I absolutely love the In Times Like These Time Travel series. This detective series is a spin off from the original books. It is done in classic detective series style with a time travel twist. I previously read the Kindle versions of the books and really enjoyed them so was glad to see this combined set. It was a great listen and just as good the second time through. These books are standalone so it isn’t necessary to read the original series to understand what is going on. Still, I recommend starting with In Times Like These and then reading/listening to this series to get the most out of it.
