Would you consider the audio edition of Owned to be better than the print version?

I read and listen at the same time. There is such tremendously elevated level of dimension added by having the audio that I cannot imagine and seldom read any book without listening to it. So I am a HUGE advocate of adding more books to Audible.com.

What other book might you compare Owned to and why?

All the books in this "Highest Bidder" series are comparable and I love them all. Each has a unique twist in one way or another that brings a different flavor to it.

Which character – as performed by Douglas Berger and Brooke Hayden – was your favorite?

Joseph was my favorite character; a completely unique individual who ends up in a loving relationship, despite having survived horrendously grotesque life events early on.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Why would anyone go the movies when they can stay home with audio books???

I shouldn't be surprised again but then here I am crying my eyes out but in a good way . The ladies never disappoint 💾 . I'm so relaxed but that's what happens to me after awesome sex or a very naughty read or a book with naughty sex . Yeah it's one of those lol !

HIs to protect

I done the whispersync with this book. I loved the narrators. They truly brought the characters to life and pulled me into the story.

Lilly is innocent in a way. Has not explored her sex life, she is a virgin. But like most of us women she loves her dirty romance. I loved that she was curious about a different life style. This had to be truly scary for someone as innocent as her. But going watching the BDSM role play was like her fix for on dealing with everything she had to deal with through the day.

Lily had a good heart. She wanted to help kids that were going down the wrong path. Her heart broke for them. I do like the fact that she knew she could only help them if they wanted help. She did not want them to pull the wool over her eyes.

Joseph was this bad boy that was super sexy. He had the scary feel to him. Men around the BDSM club knew he was a man that needed to be feared. He use to be in the Mafia.

While reading this story we will get to know Joseph more and more. His past is heartbreaking. For man that was in the mafia he truly had a good heart. I love that he needed Lily and was determined to have her.

There is so much chemistry between the two. Lily might be a submissive but she is one that has a rebellious streak and likes to show she will not be pushed around. I love how Joseph handle her. He never allowed his anger to get the best of him even when she was doing something she was not suppose to do.

There is danger around the corner and Joseph must do what he can to keep Lily safe. I love the bond these two had formed. Joseph will realize how much he really feels for Lily. It is a love worth dying for.

Don’t worry there are plenty of steamy parts. I truly loved this story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

Great!

First time for these two narrators. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I enjoyed Douglas more though. I love Willow! She always has really heartfelt books but I'm enjoying this series! so far I've loved the Lauren Landish addition. I cant tell yet if it's a difference in authors or what, but I enjoyed this book. The story is great. It keeps with the others and while it doesn't have to be in order, I've been reading them that way and I've been enjoying them in order. I've read books out of order even it says you can do either and it didn't effect the book, but I felt this time around I got more from the story by reading them in order. just my personal opinion. I definitely recommend this book.

like the story but hated the Lily Character, she was weak and not very smart
