Fall in love with Laura & Seth!

Tempted to Kiss is book 3 and just when I thought things were going to wind down and I was going to be satisfied with my happily ever after, Willow Winters sucked me in on an action packed, angsty, dark listen and left me wanting . We pick up where book two left off, and begin to see the possibilities of Seth and Laura. There are a multitude of secrets, and difficulties that lie ahead, but we are rooting for these two! And then, in true Winters's fashion, she hits us with an unknown that left me speechless. It's so dark and delicious, and has left me unfulfilled needing to know the outcome! This is another incredible segment of their story.

Easy to Fall, book 4 is supposed to wrap up Seth and Laura's journey to happily ever after. What does Willow Winters do? She not only keeps the suspense high, but adds a layer of concern and worry as we as so invested in the lives of these characters! There is no rest for the weary, and these two mount obstacles no couple should have to. Seth is amazing, and no matter what is thrown at him, he finds his way. Laura is a trooper, and knows she has to do what it takes to keep the people she loves together. It's fast paced, gives us a glimpse of past characters we love, and keeps our hearts alive with a little angst, a little fear and a lot of love. As Seth and Laura find their happiness though, Winters leaves us wide open for the next series, and I can't wait to see what she will be giving us next.

Joe Arden and Samantha Cook narrate the entire as Seth and Laura. I really enjoyed this team, Their voices complimented each other well and they became Seth and Laura. Both are seasoned performers and the additional voices of Jase, Bethany, Cami and others came easily. The story was alive in my mind, just the way a good narration always is. Loved these two together! Teddy Hamilton gives an appearance at the end gearing us up for the next series!

Broken Hearts and Happiness

This book series by Willow Winters covers a 13-year period in the lives of Seth, who is a member (later, the leader) of a ruthless mafia group; and Laura, whose father was a member of the same group until he was mysteriously killed when Laura was 16.

After the death of Laura’s father, Seth who is the most popular and good-looking guy at their high school, begins to look after her, taking her under his wing, spending time with her, and becoming a dear friend for reasons we do not yet understand.

After two years, Laura falls in love with Seth, but as dedicated as he is to her, he certainly cannot imagine himself in love with anyone. Despite this, a close and trusting bond forms between them, a bond that ties them together in one way or another for many years to come.

Each of the main characters has their share of personal traumas and problems, whether they are together or apart. As a couple, their problems are compounded by different career/life goals, mafia involvement, revenge-seekers, constant danger, and police investigators.

The series is very suspenseful. The books contain a great mix of crime drama, suspense thriller, mafia/mob crime, and dark romance genres, which would make the books a hit with most readers/listeners. We even get to spend some time with the gorgeous Cross brothers, who have their own series of Willow Winters books!

The hours I spent with this series were really fun and flew by. I highly recommend these books!!

Good grief!

75% of this book is sex. The two main characters LITERALLY have ZERO dialogue or interactions that go nit result in sex. The “hero” becomes more and more controlling and abussive as the story goes on. The “heroine” is so weak that her ONLY personality trait is that she likes to get off. I’m quitting with 8 hours to go bc they are now having sex in a jail cell ( insert many eye rolls)

Great Value! Amazing Romantic Suspense!

This boxed set includes all the books in the Hard to Love Series: Longing to Hold, Hard to Love, Desperate to Touch, Tempted to Kiss, and Easy to Fall. This is a great value! This Romantic Suspense is amazingly addictive. The characters are great. I loved to follow Seth and Laura in their journey. Seth is handsome, caring, and protective. Laura is lovely, and strong. The world building is well done, and complex. The storyline is suspenseful, and captivating, filled with danger, intrigue, mystery, and twists and turns. The suspense unfolds at a great pace. This Series is breathtaking, and beautiful. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it. Joe Arden and Samantha Cook did an wonderful job with the narration. I like the addition of Teddy Hamilton at the end, given us an overview of what is coming next. I can't wait!

gut-wrenching romance filled with suspense

Not my Heart to Break provided an excellent opportunity allowing readers to enjoy the entire fantastic Hard to Love series all at once. It took me some time to finish the audio book because it was almost 22 hours long, and I truly enjoyed every second of it.

Story – 4 stars

Laura and Seth’s story was filled with suspense, passion, and unexpected twists. There were so many secrets and plot twists that kept me guessing. Their connection was intense and alluring. I was totally consumed by their gut-wrenching and emotional journey to their happily ever after

Audio – 4 stars

Joe Arden’s performance brought Seth to live. Samantha Cook’s performance was a little bland in comparison. But overall, great performances by the two artists.

Truly captivating!

Not My Heart to Break is a collection of the Hard to Love series. By far my absolute favorite series by the talented and amazingly awesome storyteller W. Winters. What a ride!! Truly captivating! Buckle up buttercup because you’re in for one hell of a ride!! The narrators simply made this story come alive!!

Hard to Love
Hard to Love is breathtakingly beautiful! The story of Seth and Laura had me completely mesmerized. What an emotional listen. This book gave me all the feels! I laughed, I cried and most importantly I want more! This was truly a fast story, full of action and kept me on the edge of my seat! So thankful book 2 is out because I’d be lost if I didn’t know how this ends!! If you love a powerful, raw, absolutely mesmerizing read I HIGHLY suggest this one!! Be prepared to binge some awesomeness! Time to bring on Book 2!!!

Desperate to Touch
Desperate to Touch was the 2nd book to Hard to Love. It picked up right where book one left off. Seth and Laura's story continues to be just as thrilling and captivating as it was in the first book. I couldn't stop listening to this one as well. Once again this thrilling, heart pounding book left you needing to know what happens next. Bring on Book 3!!!

Tempted to Kiss
Let’s just start with I wasn’t ready!!! I simply was not ready for that ending!! This book just blew my mind!! I just finished and I totally did not see that coming!! What a ride!! Tempted to Kiss is the 3rd book in the Hard to Love series. Definitely recommend reading them in order. This series is like one big giant roller coaster with plenty of WTF moments!! And that ending though?!? What just happened?? Ohhh emmm geee!!! I can’t wait for Seth & Laura’s story to conclude in Easy to Fall, which is the final book in this series! I need it now! Like right now! How does this end?!? W. Winters what are you doing to me!!?? Just binged this entire series in less than a week!

I could not listen fast enough!! I’m an emotional wreck!! Book four can’t get here fast enough!!! What an epic explosive twist and turn of events. One absolutely intense ride!! So happy be on this journey with them. Beautifully written and heartbreakingly amazing as well!

I simply wasn’t ready! I’m still sitting here like did that just happen? This book should have came with a warning ... it’s about to smash your world and steal your breath away. Grab a condom for your heart because this book is about to F*ck your feelings!! Must read for every romance reader out here!!

Easy to Fall
Hello Book 4 in the Hard to Love series. And what a book it is!! Easy to Fall is the conclusion to Seth & Laura’s journey. What a thrill ride. I’m over here all in my feels over this one. I think this is Willow Winter’s best book yet. She absolutely destroyed me with this book. I couldn’t stop listening. I was truly captivated.

Wow.

What a story. Willow Winters truly knows how to craft a roller coaster that’ll leave you screaming, crying, blushing, and sitting at the edge of your seat. The world she’s crafted is something I can’t wait to dig more into. I started with Jace and Bethany, and loved to Seth and Laura. Onto the next.

Interesting story but slow in parts

I would suggest reading the books on the Cross brothers before reading this story. I was confused at times. I did enjoy this couple and the devotion that Seth felt for his baby girl.

Really good series!

Another wonderful series from this author. It had everything-passion, suspense and very interesting characters. Very engrossing story!

Wasn't sure I could finish

Although it's a bargain to get the series in one shot, I'm not sure it's a great deal. I would listen for a while and later come back to listen for a bit at random times in between other more enjoyable titles.

The story was okay and I liked Seth, but Laura did so many stupid things that got on my nerves I just wasn't a fan of hers. On top of that, the female narrator's continual despair and whining were just too much. I liked Laura even less as the book progressed. Hence, the many stops & starts to trudge through this series. Unfortunately, this one missed the mark for me. It's verrry long and I'm not sure we really needed almost 22 hours. Especially, when you aren't invested in the MCs. Joe Arden was great though.

I loved it so much

Not My Heart to Break a boxset from Willow Winters containing the novels Hard To Love, Desperate to Touch, Tempted To Kiss, & Easy to Fall was an emotional fast paced page-turner that had me at the edge of my seat unable to put it down. This story was engrossing, action-packed, mysterious, steamy and unpredictable and I was totally consumed with these characters and this world Willow Winter created. The boxset took us on a wild ride with so many unexpected twists and turns and as each book ended in a cliff hanger I was so happy to have the boxset as I was able to immediately continue the story. This was Seth and Laura's story but the Cross brother play a prominent role in the novel. You will be taken on an emotional roller-coaster ride in this tale and it will give you all the feels. I loved these novels and would highly recommend it to all lovers of romantic suspense.
I listened to the audio book version which was narrated by Joe Arden and Samantha Cook. They did a fantastic job with the characters, giving each one their own voice and personality. They brought the story to life and I enjoyed listening to them narrate this novel.

Willow did an amazing job on this series! This is the first set of her books that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. This series will take you on an emotional roller coaster that you never want to get off. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Laura and Seth.

Joe and Samantha did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring the story to life.

I loved that Teddy came in on the end for the voice of Marcus to set up the next series in the Merciless World.

I would highly recommend this book if you love romantic suspense.
