Loved it

Listened to the whole book in one day when it usually takes several days to get finished.

Very Moving

Losing your child in a mass shooting is unimaginable. The author does the best she could trying to portray the emotions and scarring of the survivors. Unfortunately this is a part of life in America today.

Just OK

Overall, I love Sandra Brown books, but this one wasn't a favorite and didn't really read like one of hers. Maybe part was the narration, I prefer females generally speaking, but I got used to this one but wish the voices varied more. Admittedly, I didn’t know 'who done it' until it was revealed, but I'm not sure anyone would based on how information was revealed. The twists on the male lead jumped quickly and unrealistically. He wasn't a real likable character. The female was better but not as relatable as most of her characters are. It jumped months without any real explanation and seemed more like a week in 'real' time. This probably isn't real helpful information but I wouldn't have wasted a credit on it if I'd known then what I do now.

Fine performance, story was so so

I thought the premise was good but the characters were so unbelievable and the dialogue was so so so corny. I rolled my eyes the whole way through this one.

Not Sandra Brown’s best work

There was a lot of foul language that was not necessary. The story was ok, not her best; the reader was as great!

Good read

I was afraid this would be too fraught with emotion but the story was well told and a good narration.

Need more then one book a year!! So much excitement and action!! Lots twists in the story loved it!
