No words just love it’s so beautifully written I wish it would never end. I don’t know how I will recover from a book like this. It’s just perfecf

So much potential

I really loved the idea of this fantasy; doomed love, reincarnation, and ect. I just feel like it wasn’t executed as best as it could. I kept waiting for more, wanting more from the characters love, their past lives, and the present day storyline. Also, the author used more descriptive language and smilies than should be legally allowed, like SO MUCH description when she should’ve put more effort into the actual dialogue between characters. It was a good book and I enjoyed it, but it had so much potential to be do much better.

Gosh. This is a tough one. The premise is incredible. The love that transcends time is amazing. It just gets a bit monotonous. They just keep doing the same thing over and over and it starts to seem that even the greatest love would get up and move on after a century or so. When I finally found out the reason for it all I just thought ‘this is how you chose to handle this??’ Then the end! All of that suffering and then….

1000 Lifetimes of You

I fell in love from the very first chapter! As mentioned in the bio, the fantastical storyline was reminiscent of Addie LaRue, and will be adored by fans of this book.

Evelyn and Arden are fated by a curse of infinite lives. The poetic writing and atmospheric descriptions of the many lifetimes Evelyn and Arden have fallen in love are woven together beautifully. Despite Arden’s desire to protect Evelyn, the curse that tethers their fates together, also binds them to an early death in each life. Evelyn can recall each lifetime she’s lived, all of the people who have touched her lives, and the infinite Arden’s she’s loved. While she and Arden yearn to be together, it’s imminent she will die at his hands in each life before they turn 18. The origin of Evelyn’s existence is the only memory that’s unclear and why Arden’s pursuit to protect her also means he’s destined to kill her in each life. Evelyn’s current life is different, however, as the fate of her sister depends on her and she’s determined to prevent Arden from fulfilling their destiny despite the impending consequences.

This will be one of my favorite books of the year!

Laura Steven has crafted a spellbinding novel that leaps across centuries—from 986 Greece to 1290 Mali to 2054 Scotland—with such rich historical detail, you’ll swear you’ve lived there yourself. Evelyn and Arden are the ultimate star-crossed lovers, cursed to fall in love and die before reaching adulthood in every life. But this isn’t your typical reincarnation romance. It’s haunting, philosophical, and devastatingly romantic. Think The Midnight Library meets The Book of Spells, with a delicious undercurrent of something darker—and a plot twist at the end that I definitely didn’t see coming.

Steven’s prose is luminous, and her storytelling so layered and emotionally resonant, it will leave you questioning everything—your choices, your soulmates, even your memories. I’m still reeling from the ending (what even was that?!). I loved how the genre refused to sit still—part historical fiction, part speculative fantasy, with a quiet hum of the supernatural. I closed the book teary-eyed and existential, immediately texting all my friends that they must read it. This is a five-star gem that will live rent-free in your mind—and maybe your past lives—for a long time.

What an odd turn of events

The end of the book felt a bit disconnected from the story, it was as if I was reading a completely different book.
