Good read

Narrator not my favorite. But the book was well written, and kept me pulled in the whole time with action and adventure.

Mehalek's ONLY HUMAN takes you on a journey through Vincent's past lives and loves as he navigates his present incarnation and the darkness that follows him throughout the ages.

What about DJ Donnelley’s performance did you like?

He used many believable voices in order to make each character unique.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Like many of the episodes within Vincent's life, the ending of Only Human made me cry and stayed with me long after I finished.

The theme of love as redeemer permeates the book, It is a refreshing mix of fantasy, romance, and horror.

Fast-paced, heartstring-tugger, satisfying.

Hard to choose!

I like how everything came together in the end - with proper crescendo and the last chapter tied everything up nicely.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Right before the ending... won't spoil it for you!

Narrator of this edition was very good! Not sure why the hate...

"Only Human" takes you on a journey through time. It's narrative is fast paced and the its characters are intriguing. It is a cross between the fantastical world of "Game of Thrones," and the epic tales of love, loss, longing and betrayal in "Interview with a Vampire." A tale that illuminates human nature in a way that can only be told using magical creatures.

Powerful, enthralling tale!

Only Human is a powerful, enthralling tale that keeps you on the edge of your seat and keeps surprising you. Odds are you won't guess a couple big twists toward the end. I really enjoyed the characters and the story and I could really see this becoming a movie or TV show. The narrator in the audiobook is really great and narrates with passion. Highly recommend!
