Mixed feelings
The plot us well-constructed. Characters are interesting. The heroine however is whinny and appears less than bright and over emotional. It was difficult to develop any concern about her predicaments.

a unique and fun ride
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book. I started out reading in on my kindle, then I was enjoying it so much I added on the audiobook. This was such a fun book of a crazy granny and her crazy coven...witches, werewolves, demons, and a griffin. It was just so crazy, I loved it. While they did have some steaminess, it was minimal, and while I always like some in the books I read, this one was good with the little it had. Tavia Gilbert did a great job narrating. I recommend this for a fun paranormal read.

Great from the get go!
What made the experience of listening to The Accidental Demon Slayer the most enjoyable?
Tavia Gilbert has a wonderful voice in general, but the numerous voices she can make only adds to the experience. The book itself is amazingly fun, starting with a demon in the bathroom, and a truly fun listen.
Who was your favorite character and why?
While it is difficult to choose between a few of them, Pirate wins it for me. Pirate is the jack russell that you see on the cover and Angie Fox loads this pup with personality. He is an adorable fun loving dog who only wants two things. Food and adventure.
Which scene was your favorite?
I love the beginning as it set the tone for what was to come. It lets you know that you will be in for a thrilling ride filled with comedy that is on point.

Old Lady Biker Chicks
Wow. This story was so funny i am still laughing. What happens when you are getting ready to out with your friends to celebrate your 30th birthday and along comes your long lost grandma on her "hog". Then tells you that you are a demon slayer. Then in comes a demon standing on your toilet seat trying to kill you. That can ruin your whole day. She then practically drags you out of your house along with your terrier dog who you now can talk too and expects you to get on her Harley and run because the demons are after you. You continue to be attacked get stuck in hole and have to be rescued by a Griffin shifter who says he is your protector. Then get to a biker bar where your grandma's witch coven is at. They are all a bunch of old lady biker types. Thus your new life begins.
This book was a "hoot". It reminded me of a cross between Molly Harper's Half Moon Hollow books and Robyn Peteman's Fashionly Dead series and her Magic and Mayhem.
Loved them. Look forward to reading more.
