Why can't it be consistent?

I've noticed this becoming a theme in of her books but it's like there's so many characters in this universe that the names get crossed. Like Hudson kissing Sophia, his sister in one scene not Scarlett who I'm sure is who he was actually kissing. I'm also so tired of the kids that the couples from previous books names also keep changing now Fords kid is named Micha? Even the family tree on the authors website doesn't say that and this isn't the first kids name/sex ti change in a follow up book. Otherwise it's a great book and I love the entire universe and all the series.

Hudson and Scarlett

A suspenseful, angsty, emotional and heartwarming romance that definitely had me on the edge of my seat. Hudson and Scarlett are great together. She brings out a side of him that is so different than anyone else has the pleasure of seeing. These two are both fighting their own demons but they find their sage harbor with one another. I adored and enjoyed everything about this fantastic story.

Amazing enemies to lovers romance

I received this as an arc/alc from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.

This was an amazing enemies to lovers romance. It was a really well written story and it had a great flow. The series has become one of my favorites by this author and this book only cemented that. Hudson and Scarlett had such wonderful chemistry and I loved their dynamic. The story touched on some though subjects and was very emotional. I absolutely loved it.

Audiobook review: I loved listening to this story, the narrators were great at portraying the characters and they were very well matched on pace and volume.

Complicated & Emotional

Hudson and Scarlett’s complicated grumpy/sunshine romance was packed full of drama, suspense, and chemistry. The ever growing Cage family and their new dynamic is always entertaining and Lance Greenfield and Kit Swann’s incredible narration brought this emotional story life.

Five Stars!

When you've been in survival mode for most of your life, you tend to want to have control over every aspect of your existence. Scarlett Blair grew up with domestic violence. Her mother didn't do anything to keep herself and her daughters safe. That made Scarlett uber independent and wanting everything to be perfect. She's the manager of the Cage Resort and always has to make sure everything is running smoothly. Hudson Cage has lived through horrors of war during his time in the military. He's content to stay home and paint in his studio, away from the meddling and overly vivacious family members. The Cages are not your typical family. Eleven siblings share the same father and two mothers; one set not knowing about the other until their father's death. It's been a very trying couple of years getting to know new siblings and finding a happy medium. Scarlett and Hudson have lived next door to each other but have kept out of each other's way. Until her ex wouldn't leave her alone. Suddenly Hudson is very aware of Scarlett. They're circling each other, but it's inevitable that they're going to end up together. They both have fractured parts of themselves that only the other can understand. It's not an easy road that they walk on, but together those little fissures repair themselves the more they spend time together. Kit Swann and Lance Greenfield were wickedly good narrators for these characters. The nuances in their voices brought out all the emotions and gave depth to every character in this story. The Cages are a complicated family, but with each sibling falling in love and welcoming a partner into the fold, they heal more and more as time passes.
