Enjoyable but dragged at parts
It was interesting how the book was told from the perspective of a sex worker. At times it was very good, but at other times, it dragged, especially in the middle, to the point that I started listening at 1.2 speed and soon was listening at a 1.5 speed.

Wow! There’s more than just one last secret!
This book should be turned into a movie. It twists and turns and takes you to places you never thought it would. Just when you think you know what’s going on, you turn the page and it goes in a complete other direction. This book kept me hooked. Now I’m off to find some more books by Adele Parks!

Good story
Overall, I like this book a lot. However, it was a little slow to start off. It was hard to keep my attention. But after the first couple of chapters, I couldn’t stop listening to it. The end caught me off guard which was a good thing. I would give it a try.

Heartbreaking, brilliant, But be prepared to be drawn into the reality of a life that too many young women live.
The author, to her credit, stuck with grind
that our protagonist experienced.
This is not a book for those who subscribe to the Hallmark channel.
