parallel lives collide
this is my first reading from Sadeqa Johnson and it was exhilarating. I normally read urban fiction, being an author in that genre but Miss Johnson has opened my eyes to an entirely different world yet having the same elements; emotions, feelings, love, and truths. Her written expression of feeling vulnerable, inadequate and unequal was mastered through her pen. I was able to understand that love is timeless, the tales behind are just different ...but sacrifices are the same.
I am not really good at giving a review that doesn't spoil the story for those who use the reviews to purchase so I will leave it at that but I am on to the next Sadeqa Johnson book... And Then There Was Me

Absolutely loved this book!
Wonderful story that kept me engaged throughout the entire book. Lots of emotion throughout what a great love story and a selfless one too for one special character.

Great Read
I enjoyed the historical part of the book. When I was in nursing school we visited a Florence Crittendon home for unwed women. I pray that it wasn’t like this one.
