Momma Ruby was one of kind lol
This book was entertaining from the beginning. I laughed so hard at certain points. Good story line and well narrated even with all of the many characters.

Excellent read
Mama Ruby was a complicated character. I enjoyed the authors attention to detail. Each scene was as though you could picture it. Well worth the read. Hilarious and serious.

Crazy but good...
Although Mama Ruby was the HOTTEST mess ever, this book really kept my interest. I literally laughed out loud multiple times at this group of characters. The slang and accents that were used- while exaggerated at times, is representative of the deep South so it didn't bother me too much. I do wish that the author spent more time on the ending because I feel like after receiving so many details throughout the story for the story to end like it did felt rushed and not as satisfying as I thought it would have. Overall, I liked everything but the ending.

Vivid characters with lots of drama!
I really liked this book and it had some very humorous parts. Mama Ruby is a character I will never forget. I am looking forward to reading book 2.

Loved Loved Loved
I enjoyed this book...excited about book 2 of this series . Mama Ruby displays that necessary evil side that some wished they possessed. She gives a whole new meaning to "loving hard." She protects those she loves and in the words of her son Virgil, " I'd rather be in hell than in your shoes mister." Yes!
