Camden Wheeler is a rock. The owner of his own brewery and a pillar of the community in Carter's Crossing, he's a small-town alpha and proud of it. He knows who he is and where he's going in life - the only thing he's missing is an omega to fill his heart.

Wes doesn't have a clue who he is. He wakes up in the local hospital with a serious case of amnesia, and the only lifeline he has to cling to is the story of the alpha who found him injured in the woods and carried him down a mountain. It's a romantic story - but a difficult story to base his entire life around.

With no way of remembering or contacting anyone from Wes' previous life, he consigns himself to staying in Carter's Crossing while he heals. The one bright spot is that Camden isn't about to let him suffer in silence. The alpha provides Wes with the strength he needs to rebuild himself anew...and their close intimacy blossoms into a deep, abiding love.

But when a fancy lawyer comes around asking questions about Wes, will Wes be able to put the past behind him? Or will the revelations of Wes' former self be the one thing that tears him and Camden apart?

Carter’s Crossing is a quaint little town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where some people go to get away, others arrive to start over, and plenty just find themselves when they’re lost or brokenhearted. This stand-alone contemporary mpreg series is for adults only and is sure to leave you believing in the magic of true love and happily-ever-afters! This audiobook and every other book in the series can be listened to in any order.

I had read all the books so far in this series and hearing it just makes me love it more. I loved the way the narrator brought them to life. Wes was so cute and I loved how he and Camden are together. Another great book from Aiden Bates brought to life!

Loved it!

I'm absolutely still loving this series. Cam & Wes story was very gratifying. to me. The only little complaint I have for this book is for the narration. BBurrows is a wonderful narrator but, with the voice of Wes I really couldn't get into. He sounded a little to wimpy. And the voices of the other characters, such as Patrick and his husband their voices were displeasing. I understand it was a different narrator from book1, I just couldn't get into it. That being said, Im still highly invested in this series, and definitely recommend it. On to book3!😊

Still Loving This Series.

Loved the book. I loved how they came from two different backgrounds and fell in love when he didn't know who he was.

Amazing book

I enjoyed the story greatly. I'm familiar with the characters and I love this series. wes was a great character, the brothers had great dialogue and the ending was fitting. that said, this speaker was a bit jarring to me when I first heard him. I think as a speaker in general he's fine and you get used to it after a while but I don't feel the tone or pacing were quite right for the story.

Great story, odd narration.

Camden is alpha who like a lot of others hasn't found the right Omega yet. and poor Wes has got amnesia from an accident. so the story goes cam falls for Wes. saves the day and all is well. a predictable plot. I felt the performance was. ...ok. I didn't particularly feel like the voice matched the characters I had in my mind. so maybe that is on me. all in all four stars.

another Bates book.
