Publisher's Summary

Explore! Level up! Take over an entire planet, and take out anyone that gets in your way!

Against all odds, Val and his men have survived a savage assault initiated by a ruthless foe. But Val was forced to pay a steep price after taking out the enemy commander, a retributive curse that has every living Jordian eager to claim his scalp, including his own allies!

Only Julia, a Terran half-blood like him, is immune, and there is only one way to break the curse.

They have to charge into enemy territory, sneak past countless troops, and somehow defeat an entire clan of Highlords hungry for their heads.

For Val, it’s not just about survival.

It’s about revenge.

He is determined to take out the bastards who thought they could enslave his entire planet under the guise of a virtual reality game. And what better way to accomplish this than by seizing control of the very world spearheading the invasion of Earth!

Val better act fast, using strategies no one ever sees coming, because the entire corrupt council of Jordian Highlords will stop at nothing to destroy the Terran gamer who dares to walk the Path of Kings!

Going Strong

The series is still on a great arc. I like the buildup so far from a player to world builder. it really is a great accomplishment for a first series. keep them coming!

awsome books - bad advertising

so I just got done with this book and loved it, kick butt story nice plots and twist and turns, only thing that irritated me about this book was the lack of info on its release date I literally just got done spending all my credits when I noticed it was out, other then that great book.

the thick plottens

Val continues to grow but his goes become even more powerful. I'd give 5 stars but the villains monologue far too much.

Great Series - Julia Is the 'Worst' Character

I loved all 5 of these books so far, but reaching this point I'm really starting to roll my eyes every time I know that Julia will be a part of a scene. Mostly because, since book 1, they all go something like this.

"Julia shouts, Julia cries, Julia sobs, Julia weeps"

I mean I know she's supposed to be the damsel in distress and all, but can she stop being so predictably distressing? I mean every scene with her is like nails on a chalkboard. Boo hoo. (not referring to the voice actress)

Author uses folly way way WAY too much

This series isn’t a bad series, as long as you can handle extremely repetitive flowery descriptions of every single action anyone takes. The words folly and oblivion seem like they are used in almost every single sentence.

Also I would be quite ambivalent if Julia was just killed off already.
