wrong order

this states this is book 2 but actually book 3. the beginning says book 3 but order on audible is wrong.

My fave so far

I’ve been listening to the series in order and this is the 3rd book- and with the reviews, and because of the way the characters were portrayed in the last book, I wasn’t sure I wanted to read this one. But this was so far my favorite. The love story between Tavi and Elise is beautiful. In some ways it’s develops a little too quickly from hate to love- but I do like a good enemy to lovers story. Worth the credit- I couldn’t put it down.

Kai and Wen are amazing impersonating Tavi and Elise, Elise is paying for switch places with her best friend Angelina and Tavi has a short leash , loved how their relationship develops it has a touch of mystery, has action and very hot scenes and I loved it.

Freaking amazing!

This is the third book in this series and they just keep getting better and better. Tavi and Elise have a really rough start, and they're both so stubborn that it's hard to see them ever reaching common ground. He's bosy and dominant. She's strong-willed and defiant. He's determined to teach her her place, she's determined to defy him at every turn. The story is full of angst and passion, and it's fabulous. The dual narration is great, and the voices fit the characters perfectly. They do a fabulous job of expressing all the right emotions and sucking you into the story. I loved every second of it!

Great listen

I could not stop listening to this book down. Jane Henry has made another family that I absolutely enjoy. Tavi and Elise are a great couple and the twists were great. The mafia stories are wonderful. The narration helps with wanting to listen.

Love this couple

This is a decent series. Narrators are the best. I like this story as one of the best. I only hope the next few are just as good and not cruel.

I'm a huge fan of Jane Henry and all her books. And Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are some of my favorite narrators. They bring this story to life like no other!!

Had me firmly clutched in the palm of it's hand

This gripping story is taut with tension, rich with intense emotion and jam-packed with juicy drama. I've got to say that Tavi and Elise make a very potent couple. They each have extremely strong personalities and with very clear battle lines drawn from the get-go, you can expect a bounty of fiery sparks and heat. The storyline quickly pulled me in and the smartly crafted blend of sharp-edged darkness, nerve-stretching suspense, pulse-racing danger, thrilling action and stunning twists kept me firmly clutched in the palm of its hand and all too happy to be there. The narrators of this book gave stellar performances that made the book super easy to get into and I felt they fit the characters perfectly.

Fantastic romantic suspense!

Keep this series coming Jane Henry, I am hooked on these anti-heroes! This is book 3, and what a story this is! We met Elise in book 2, as she dodged an arranged marriage. Now back and having a new arrangement, she is adjusting to her new future. Tavi is hoping things will work out for the best. After all, she is pretty to look at, and interesting to talk to. But these two have a lot of baggage and secrets between them. The question is will they be able to reveal their truths and still find the love they undeniably share! And it's not just about the romance. Henry always gives us a suspenseful twist. Tavi is kind of alpha dominant when it comes to Elise. He has expectations of his woman, but also has a warm, sweet side. Elise is an incredibly strong woman. She has grown up knowing what is expected of her, and is now realizing that there is more than the business side. The twist in this one is highly unexpected, which just adds to the fun! This is a fabulous series and can't wait to see what Henry has up her sleeve next!

Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are our narrating team and again they never cease to amaze me. Kennicott is Elise, with a strength and love that is undeniable. Her expressive voice is able to let us know everything Elise is feeling. Ross enters in as the alpha male, dominant leader that he is, he gives it in the business and the bedroom! Love these two always, and enjoyed their performance.

A Wild & Twisted Ride! Excellent Story & Listen🎧

Jane Henry continues to amaze me with another brilliant mafia romance. I am loving this series each book features a different family member as the lead character, timelines pick up soon after the prior book ends and while each book stands on it own, I highly recommend enjoying the books in order, not only are they all amazing stories but it is beneficial to know who the other players are and you will get the most out of the mafia world building which is phenomenal. This third “Deviant Doms” book is Ottavio “Tavi” Rossi and Elise Regazzo’s story. Elise, a mafia princess, grew up knowing she had no choice of husbands, that her father would arrange her marriage to strengthen his power and alliances. In the second book, we saw she fell in love with her bodyguard despite knowing she was supposed to be saving herself for her future husband. She and her friend came up with a plan to bide time so she could runaway with her love. But that plan was an epic fail, they capture her, and agree the best thing for the family would be to go thru with the wedding, but to a different Rossi. Tavi is the underboss for the Rossi family, his last attempt at an arranged married left a nasty taste in his mouth and he is ok with this new arrangement and since no one betrays his family, he plans on making her pay for her betrayal. But not everything goes as planned and somewhere along the line, these two fall for each other. This cleverly plotted mafia romance has plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Jane Henry, thank you for another wildly amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Loving the series

Another fab book by Jane Henry. Right when you think the story is going one way, there is a twist. I like that main characters were both strong. I’m starting the next in the series right away.

Great story and so well written. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. It’s so nice to follow the Rossi family and hear about previous characters from the other books.
