Publisher's summary

What if everything forbidden to me—freedom, love, pleasure—could be mine? Would I be brave enough to take it?

Five years ago, Josie Porter's life was about to begin: she was going to escape her abusive family, move in with her best friend, and start college. Now, scarred from years of government torture in the Designation Academy, her dreams are long gone. Her only goal now is to survive.

With the Designation Government out to pair every omega with often brutal alpha packs, Josie has to turn to black-market suppressants to disguise her biology. When the supply runs out, Josie can no longer run from her designation.

Cam, Ben, and Theo Ashwood had given up on their dream to find an omega, refusing to participate in the government's oppressive policies. But when the underground anti-government Alliance asks them to help an omega in need, they can't say no. They never expected to meet her—their fated mate.

Suddenly surrounded by alphas desperate to tend to her every need, Josie finds herself feeling things she only dreamed of as a child—love, trust… hope.

But even the protection of her fiercely loyal pack can't stand against those determined to tear them apart.

Forbidden: Part One is a first-person, multiple POV, why-choose omegaverse romance with a curvy FMC and her cinnamon roll alphas. Featuring high-spice MFMM scenes and a suspenseful plot, this book ends on a cliffhanger that is resolved in Forbidden: Part Two.

That Ending!

That ending had me immediately downloading part 2. I liked this story and I feel like it had more depth than some omegaverse books I’ve read. At times I do think it was a little long but overall I enjoyed it.

The audiobook brought this story to life!

I’ve read both parts of Forbidden and I absolutely loved the story. But listening to it really brings the characters to life and, for me, it really brought me emotionally into the story. I 100% suggest listening!

Intriguing story

I always love a good suspense but add in a sprinkle of abuse & corruption & it really makes an intriguing story. The only downside to the story was the governmental corruption almost made it too real for me with our current American political climate. I guess the other con (of pro & con) is the alphas in this story took to the main female, Josie, right away- I usually like a good pull & tug that eventually brings the group together.

Other than that- it was good story of Josie learning how to be true to her Omega status, learn to love her guys & trust them. The book left on a great cliff-hanger. The book also made me want the main characters fight back against all the injustice the Designation Government & her family was forcing on everyone, especially Omegas. Can't wait for the next audio book to release!

TRIGGER WARNINGS PLEASE!!!

“Listener discretion is advised” does NOT cut it. This series ticks the following boxes: SA, medical torture, cult kidnapping, mental and emotional abuse, severe misogyny, and mentions of rape.
That being said, if you can stand the adrenaline and rage you’ll experience, it’s quite a ride. The writing is good and the VA’s do an excellent job with the material.

I loved it!

Soooo good! I listened to this story nonstop and loved it more and more every chapter. If you like omegaverse, you will absolutely love this book. I can’t wait for the second book to be recorded and released! I was sad when I saw that it wasn’t out yet! It’s definitely something I will look forward to 😊

a big hit for me

First I want to say is I'm going to review for part one and two.
The fist book kinda starts of slow but its a build up on all the history and emotions. Warning it gets you addicted fast. the duel narration was amazing I am English so i was really surprised they nailed the English accent ( most Americans can't and its a real pet pev of mine. especially as I live in the US) Anyway each character has his and her own trauma and you get a really good understanding of it all. Not over the top either. They all live with ptsd which as a military spouse whos husband has I can really understand each characters reluctance.
Book 2 was when the real action comes in. I'm not going to spoil it but one thing is for sure it will bring a tear to you eye. ( In a really good way). So i highly recommend this book. If you are too sensitive to serious things then move on from this amazing book. This author nailed it. Hopefully more from them!

Slow burn, but enjoyed the listen

I’m not a fan of slow burn but this I enjoyed. When I read this story I was in a reading slump and this story pulled me out. So when it came out on audible, I just had to get it. I look forward to the second part.

Story is slow. Couple spicy scenes though

I had to stop and take a break a few times and work back into listening since it was really slow at some points. It definitely glossed over some other points. The narrators were good and there were some spicy scenes
