Continuing the saga of the Gothic classic Jane Eyre.

Author Julia Harbour's debut novel reintroduces us to Adele, Jane, and Rochester in the Gothic drama we know so well. As the classic story moves forward, secrets are revealed. A heritage is denied. Passions smolder. Danger looms! Heartbreak and joy intertwine as Adele's journey reaches its startling culmination.

Rich with breathtaking surprises, Not Forgetting Adele is a gripping tale of a young woman whose courage and determination changes the lives of everyone around her. Like its predecessor, Not Forgetting Adele will find a place in all our hearts.

I found the story mainly plausible, with a few unlikely elements. It's certainly was interesting to consider the future of Jane and Edward. The ending was fairly satisfying.
unfortunately I felt that the narrators performance was not the best. when Adele spoke I felt like it couldn't be her voice, and the attempts to speak as a male, unfortunately made her sound like an old lady.

fairly satisfying conclusion to Jane Eyre

I liked entering the world of Jane Eyre again. The only fault that I have with the book is that sometimes things were predictable. However, it was very well written and the narrarator did a great job.

Great narrative

I wasn’t sure if I would like it because it continues someone else’s story. Surprisingly I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Enjoyed the sequel!

The performance was good, but the reveals in the storyline were predictable, and there were ambient background sounds, one of which was a squawking bird.

Good performance, poor production quality

I didn't not like the narration. I wasn't taken along with emotion into the journey of the character and did not find the narrator suitable for this story, I actually found the voice off putting at times.

A pleasant story and expansion of one the characters from the brilliant novel Jane Eyere.

Kind of predictable but I liked continuing Jane Eyre. I particularly liked when Jack did the polka.

The readers ability to change voices. Kind of predictable it I liked continuing the Jane Eyre story.

Love that they made a sequel to Jane Eyre but slightly disappointed because they made it into too much of an action adventure. Well written though.

Well written but far fetched

I very much liked the story as it let us glimpse the after story of Jane and Edward. Everything tied up in a satin ribbon. My only less than .. comes from the actress, Virginia. While she is very talented and read the part very well, I felt her voice was too mature for a 21 year old Adele. Other than that, a great listen.

Great sequel!
