Publisher's summary

In this first exclusive e-book accompanying the Investigation Discovery series he created, “Dark Minds,” investigative journalist M. William Phelps, author of 20 books, a noted serial killer expert, explores what goes on behind-the-scenes in this unique serial killer series as he investigates and films an episode.

Here, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, Phelps takes readers and fans of the series deep into his personal life and a dark connection to the Eastbound Strangler case, how he feels about several suspects named by law enforcement, and shares an exclusive interview he conducted with a woman who claims she was with the Eastbound Strangler and his final victim, Kim Raffo, on the night before Kim's body was found.

What kind of serial killer removes his victims' shoes and socks...and lays them out in a row, facing east?

I finally like him

I've wanted to like Mr. Phelps since dying him on television. I've read and listened too many of his books, bit the feeling I wanted to have for him just want there. this book finally put me over the edge. I just wish there were more stories in this book, it ended much too soon.

Unsolved

Just a personal preference but I really enjoy true crime where the end is concrete. Unsolved crimes just leave me waiting for a book 2.that will probably never happen to close out the story.
Well written and describing the research carried out by a highly respected author. The book is enlightening and an easy listen.
Superbly narrated by a master of his craft.
I received a free copy of this audio book at my own request and voluntarily leave this honest review..

Very disturbing

This n book was amazing!

The part that scared me the most is that this creep is still out there.

I understand that people are afraid but they have to KNOW someone else is going to die....

Kevin Pierce’s narration makes these book come to life. He is excellent!
