Publisher's summary

He is the scourge of Stupid White Men everywhere. He's taken on fat cats, gun nuts, lying politicians. The Guardian describes him as "a wake-up call, a kick in the mental backside". And now Michael Moore is back, daring to ask the most urgent question of these perilous times: Dude, Where's My Country?

Michael Moore is on a mission in his new book: regime change. The man who slithered into the White House on tracks greased by his daddy's oil buddies is one of the many targets in Mike's blistering follow-up to his smash number one Stupid White Men, the biggest selling nonfiction book of the year. Now no one is safe: corporate barons who have bilked millions out of their employees' lifetime savings, legislators who have stripped away our civil liberties in the name of "homeland security", and even that right-wing brother-in-law of yours (yes, we all have one) who manages, year after year, through his babbling idiocy, to ruin Thanksgiving dinner.

Fearless, funny and furious, Michael Moore's new book is the call to arms we've all been waiting for, the kind of book that comes along once every so often that rallies citizens with humor and insight and changes the course of the country.

Moore is ONLY OUT FOR HIMSELF

I'd give this book a zero star rating if I could. Moore is just a plain greedy author trying to make a buck by acting up. The book does nothing but continue to spew the agenda he has every time a non-Democrat gets into the oval office. His stories about Bush and the Saudis is so outlandish and embellished, that he himself starts to believe it. The way Morre writes this book, HE ALONE should be the Kind of the World!!! He is the only pure heart out there!! Don't waste your time or money!

Finally someone who has the guts to report what is really happening in this country. So glad he is telling the true story of the real clown who is out of control in Washington.

Hey, Dude, Where's My Country

Just more dribble from a fat white boy/college drop-out who thinks he has all the answers. I found the Sears catalogue to be more entertaining and informative. To think, this clown is actually making money with this crapola. The world is in a sad state. Where's your country, Mikey? Why don't you try Iran on for size? They execute idiots like you routinely!

More Propaganda

Please, if you read this book know that what you are reading is nothing more than hogwash and propaganda. Yes it is well written and humorous but on the same note very dangerous as many people will not see that it is nothing more than propaganda. So please if you read this book read it as nothing more than entertainment and not for anything more. As with all of Mike's creations he has been false and misleading. This of course does not vary from that. It is however entertaining.

If even 10% of what Moore says is true...

Yes, I have read this book. And, yes, I also like Franken. But Moore is clearly the KING of political satire. The scary thing, however, is just how much Moore seems to know about the "real" politics that are going on while most of the public sleeps. Just how close is Bush to the Saudis? Did Bush profit from the "war" in Afghanistan and Iraq? Why did Bush rush to help the Bin Ladens leave the US within hours of 9/11? Moore seems to have tapped into frustration most people have with modern day politicians, yet holds out persistent hope that we (the people) will wake up and smell the bulls***.

Another Excellent book from Michael Moore

The truth about bush is creeping aou from all sides faster than the White House can out CIA agents to stop it. And Michael Moore was the one who had the guts to stand up to the republican "death" squads, insisting his boks not be intellectually neutered. Thank yoy, thank you, thank you Michael.

Excellent - a must read

Michael Moore is making no secret of his view on the current administration. However, he builds his case based on a series of facts and relevant questions that we have not heard a clear answer to from the people in power.

Agree or disagree with Moore - you should still take the time to listen to what he says and make up your own mind. The book is entertaining and easy flowing and well read.

More people need to listen to Moore

Right wingers be afraid, be very afraid. Micheal is has found the batteries for the democratic flashlight and the republican roaches are running for cover.

We all should be very concerned with what Moore has uncovered and we should all
encourage Moore and Franken to run for president.

Would He Please Quit Wining

Michael Moore seems to do nonthing but complain about the election that the Democrats lost fair and square. If you disagree with the fair part you'll have to take it up with our constitution. I've had about enough of his nonsense, and this is one more book that I simply read so that I could say that I did read it. It is in his usual intelligent, but mostly boring dribble, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If you want to read worthwhile books about our country read books by Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell, or Bill O'Reilly.
