Morally Grey Romance

I loved every minute of this book. Characters stole my heart, I'm hoping for a follow-up book. the Duet narration and both narrators gave a fantastic performance.

this was so fricken good. the fmc was a strong independent woman who took no shit. the mmc was an alpha a$$hole. this had all the ups and downs.

Intense!

Holyyyyy shii... this book was amazing!! & what made it even more so, were the voice actors! superb job! the writing was good & always kept my attention. a good balance of background & current happenings. a build up of spice that seems on par with real life scenarios instead of fantasy situations which I enjoy because its relatable. I could listen again & be just as thrilled! the characters are good & I love that so much detail are given to them. this was my first book by Keri Lake & I am 1000% a fan! nicely done ❤️‍🔥💥💫

Great Story. Great Performances.

It's nice to find an author who can write both an interesting plot and hot scenes. It's also nice that there aren't so many sex scenes I get bored.

Student teacher

I like student teacher romances especially when you throw in some mystery and a secret society. I initially liked the heroine. She was strong with the cards life dealt her but when it came to the hero she begged too much. It was a bit embarrassing. Overall I enjoyed it but I did find it a little slow at times. I wish there was a book about a character that makes an appearance at the end because I found him intriguing but it looks like that sadly won’t happen which is very disappointing.

Narration was great!

Duet narration (great) story (dragged on a bit)

It started off great and then got REALLY slow for a while. Overall it was a great story but it could have either been condensed quite a bit or added more thrilling content in the middle. The spice doesn’t start until more than half way through. It’s also not very spicy at all. Maybe 2.5 spice level.

The narration was great. Duet narration is the way to go. I often see reviews that call this dual narration. It’s not. It’s duet. They are 2 very different things. Duet is when the male and female narrators stick strictly to either male or female parts. When the man speaks in the story, it’s the male narrator. When the female speaks in the story, it’s the female narrator. Dual narration is when the male and female narrators do both male and female narration throughout. It kind of takes you out of the story a bit when you hear the man do the females voices and the females do the male voices. So this narration is DUET and the narrators are amazing.
