Exciting installment

First, I admit that i love the geeks and Noah is a geek! Smart, attractive and funny, he gets the attention of Captain Laura Bladon although admittedly they were first a little more like enemies. But the sparks!

The background story is that the aliens have invaded earth and mass destruction led to only few survivors. These survivors banded together to overcome the aliens and I loved how they followed other characters besides the soldiers. There is continued unfurling of the question as to what the aliens want to do to humans and this story (as well as others in the series) are heart pounding. I have to admit that I usually like happy stories that don't cause me to nervously chew on my nails even though I know there will be an HEA. :)

Jeffrey Kafer and Samantha Cook are great as they have been for the other books of this series. I love that this series is in AE- I've read all the books and listening to the audiobook brings this to a new dimension.

It keeps getting better

Oh, boy, I didn't think it could get any better, but Noah: Scifi Alien Invasion Romance (Hell Squad Book 6) exceeded my expectations. What I love most is that Noah isn't a physically warrior, more of a geek, but he is strong and determined and blows the stereo type geek out of the water! Ms. Hackett's characters are well developed and sympathetic with a plot line that keeps you turning pages. A warning though, this book contains a major cliffhanger (a first in this series). You should read the series in order due to said cliffhanger and to enhance the experience.

BOOK REVIEW.....
Loved the witty banter between Noah and Laura. The nicknames he gives her while fighting his attraction to her are priceless. Love these two. The characters were strong, tough and sexy. There was great action and chemistry between the characters. The story had a good plot and a fast pace. It was well written and left me wanting to read more about the Hell Squad. I would recommend this book and series to anyone looking for a good alien story to read.

Still action packed

Interesting and riveting story as the saga continues. These alien raptors are no joke. Narrators continue to do a fantastic job bringing characters to life. Looking forward to listening to Shaw and Claudia’s story. Poor Claudia seems to be getting the short end of the stick. On to the next book!

Instigators!!

Can you say Instigators? Laura and Noah are an unlikely pair because they really knew how to push one another’s hot buttons!! Noah tickled me every time he called her Captain Dragon and Laura amused me when making daily demands that Noah was great at ignoring!! However, they were both hiding hearts bruised by love albeit in very different ways. Thankfully they come to their senses amid working together on a project that solidifies what’s most important, each other! Jeffrey Kafer and Samantha Cook were great narrators!
