Worth it

Great story, the 13 hours really do fly by. Only critic would be that after waiting 12 and a half hours for the HEA, I wish it had been more carnal lol

I liked it but…

I didn’t like the weirdness of being a “pure virgin” and being young. It feel predatory but if I ignored all of that the book was really good

The title might as well be "Pleasure: The Pleasurableness of Pleasure."

To be honest, I enjoyed probably 99% of the book. If was an interesting story, and the narration was delightful. However, about halfway into it, you begin to realize that the author was in desperate need of a thesaurus. Words like "pleasure", "core", and "center" are used and reused at nauseum. "Pleasure" is the ultimate offender of this.

Hopefully, the author has corrected this in her more recent works. If you can deal with the repetition of terms, this book is a rather steamy lesbian tale.

She learns...

This story is a great mix of daily life, war and sex. The life of a young woman is turned upside down when she is captured by slave traders, then rescued by a tall dark and curvy woman. Learning to live in a land that is truly opposite of anything she has ever known and receiving and giving love freely to the woman/women around her.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

The well written scenes make you feel as though you are there.. very well done!!! Recommend 10/10 Hoping there are more of these!

Great book!

Definitely not your usual plot, loved all the women, More than worth the credit. The only thing I didn't like was what Dae and Anaya did when her Scion was risking her life in battle. It made me really really really upset especially when Dae was the one to suggest their pact and how long she's made her wait, I had to fwd through it! Luckily that was only a couple minutes of the book, but it took some time for me toget past it. The rest of the book was amazing!

Everyone stand for The Queen Scion!

This storyline was such a masterpiece! All characters especially the MCs were alluring and absolutely addictive! This was my introduction to this author but not to the narrator and they Don't owe me anything! I've never known this type of sapphic story with medieval times type of language and it has opened my mind to find more like it! This was such a phenomenal spicy sapphic romances adding war battle and sensual slow-burn listening experience that more people must have in their life. This will definitely be a re-listen and on my top 5 list of favorite audiobooks ever! 10s across the board!

Discovering Pleasure

4.5 ⭐️ phew Anastasia Watley did an excellent performance! Well paced and enticing story. Captured by slavers and rescued into the life of a pleasure servant, our MC must learn to adapt to a life vastly different from how she was brought up. Can she open up to not only new and untapped pleasures, but also to finding love with another woman? I recommend reading and finding out!!

Sapphic Harem

Oh to be part of a Sapphic Harem. Still my heart. Dae comes from the East, and was brought up with a strick life, chasity, arranged marriage and that homemosexuality is wrong. She is rescued from the slave traiders that abducted her. IMO and I'm sure hers in the months to come, that being rescued by the Scion Zafirah and learning sexual freedom , plus both falling in love was the best thing to happen to her. Plus, it is an open relationship with being able to also have the other harem women together or separate.

PERFECT NARRATION

the book is interesting and a lot of sex sex sex but in my opinion in a book so much sex become boring, then everything gos down when the untouched girl looks like the more experient of all, the part I really dislike is when she promise that she will wait the lover then she let herself gos with somebody else, I only finished the book because I love the Anastasia voice.
