Hockey Love

Fantastic sport love story. Crazy ideas make for fun stories. I love the inclusion of Roree along the way. Definitely worth the read or listen.

Worth the money!

This was a fantastic sports romance book! You’ve got drama, game play, revivals, sex, love and your happy ever after. Only one thing that got me was in one part when Danny got in trouble for kicking Eva’s knee. It was actually in self defense. But Danny still got what she deserved so I pushed it under the rug. Other than that.. haha this story was amazing. Highly recommend.

A very intriguing plot!

First of all I love the Olympics so I very much wanted to read/listen to this compelling story of two rival hockey players/coaches from Canada and the USA. I remember the Vancouver Olympics and even the Opening Ceremonies with KD Lang performing! I enjoyed the characters of Niki and Eva and the way in which the author wove such mystery and intrigue into this sports story where honesty did triumph. Kudos also to the wonderful narration by Anastasia Watley. I highly recommend!

I really loved Delay of Game. I loved the MC’s dedication to the sport. The excitement and pressure of the Olympic Games really comes through.

Love Lesbian Sports Books

Great story, good narration . The main characters meet again in their late 30s and sparks fly after years of anger/hurt... winter Olympics women's hockey USA vs Canada. Good listen. Give me more lesbian sports audiobooks!

Love loss

Almost everyone has "the one who got away" stories. We all want to go back to find out if there could/would be more. If we found that person again, it's not always what we wished for but sometimes it is. This is a great example of a happy ending. Great story.

Not too sport-heavy

I was hesitant about this one, thinking it might be too heavily focused on ice hockey. I was delightfully surprised. The story of the two former lovers finding the way back to each other is the main focus. The sport is the setting, but doesn't take center role. I loved that the two MCs didn't simply fall into each others arms, but had to acknowledge and reflect on their shared history and how their lives have formed since. A little intrigue adds an interesting twist on the story. Beautifully narrated.

So enjoyed the subject/sport the idea to finding love again and finding it right where her true love was all the time.
