Publisher's summary

Rule number three: Never let anyone think they can hurt you and get away with it.

I thought I'd seen and felt the worst of it, but there's nothing worse than betrayal.

Corina knows who's behind what happened to me, and she may think hiding will keep her safe, but after everything that's happened, nothing can keep her safe from me and the Sick Boys. She's a pawn in all of this, but I'll get that information even if it means I have to cut it out of her - piece by f--king piece.

This little charade is about to end. They thought they could drag me down into the dirt and grind my soul into the dust. What they failed to realize is that there's nothing left of my soul, and I don't mind getting a little dirty if it means getting my revenge. I may have let her fool me once, but there's no way in hell I'll let her fool me twice.

After I'm done with her, I'm going after the big boys.

Contains mature themes.

Sick Boys seties

This whole series was stressful and I loved every second. So much angst, drama, and crazy.

Edge of my seat

This book had me on the edge of my seat and my anxiety at like 100. I had the bad guys “them” figured out but at the last second changed my mind only to find out I was right the first time.

This books was so frustrating!

I’m enjoying this series, I am, but I honestly have no clue how it has such high ratings. Especially this book. Like are these people just listening and not absorbing it? I mean the story is effed up and fun, but it’s lacking so much. A lot of this book is just fillers and fluff. Pointless.

Ava was so aggressive in this book, I was constantly rolling my eyes at her. I wish she would soften up and embrace her emotions. I know she’s got issues, but Jesus girl take a damn chill pill and be vulnerable for a sec. When she finally does cry it’s not even good or meaningful, no personal growth or anything. It would be so refreshing if she just let all her feelings out. Also her dreams were so pointless. This book was a waste of time. Because of all that this book couldn’t hold my interest consistently, I found myself pausing and doing other stuff instead of listening.

I got so excited when Deans dad was about to give answers in the hospital, then Ava snaps for no good reason and ruins it all and they lost their chance. Even with her mom, she rushed it instead of trying harder to get answers. Then again with Luc, why won’t anyone talk or give us answers! Then when we finally get answers it’s something she already knows, or something that was obvious and the reader predicted ages ago, or they’re not explained in detail. Super vague. I guess it keeps us on the hook so we keep reading/listening. I straight up just purchased the fourth book. Apparently we have to read the whole series to get any real answers. It’s annoying and frustrating. I thought since this was the last of the Dean and Ava books they’d wrap her story up. But I was wrong. I still have so many questions.

Also, I feel like a lot of the drama Ava and Dean cause/feel could be avoided. Ava especially jumps to conclusion and lets things get to her then lashes out, I’m getting tired of it. Like take a breath and think rationality for a sec. But her character is crazy, so I guess there is nothing rational about her.

Overall this book pissed me off, but I still want to know what happens, so I’ll continue listening to the series. And once I’m done with the fourth book I’m sure I’ll read the rest of the series on KU, as I assume I will get no answers until the last book. Ugh.

Do yourself a favor and listen to this series.

I was lucky enough to try the first 3 for free and I feel blessed. It was beyond a pleasant surprise. Avalon is amazing. Dean and Abel and Brax are now thought of as MY sick boys. This series is deliciously dark and wicked. Dean is the perfect Doberman/cinnamon roll for Avalon. One of my top series next to the likes of The L.O.R.D.S and Devil's Night series. Seriously. You'll love it. And you'll love Avalon even more...she's my top FMC next to Aelin.

Best of the 3 books

This book was very wicked, but very interesting and entertaining. Made me cry I had all the emotions in one book.

Still intense, but predictable

I think this was dragged out too long. It felt like I was reading the same story. It would’ve worked better in two books instead of 3. There was more, but not much, making it feel repetitive. Although I’m glad I read it because I love these characters. I love the male performer, but struggled to listen to the female with some of her voices for everyone that wasn’t Avalon. By this book she made it extremely hard to listen to her.

An okay book

The first book I loved both characters but by the third book the FMC was just annoying. There was no character development which was disappointing. It was a good storyline. I like male narrator did a good job the female not so much, she needs to work on her male voice.
