Just so so

Overall it was entertaining. The narration was occasionally stilted & at times the story was hard to believe but I did listen to the whole story so it wasn’t all bad.

The voice needs more modulation..more variation in pitch, pace & pzusing. In the emotional scenes its too flat.

Story, voice blah

overall I liked the story. Good age gap, nanny romance. Decent amount of spice and great HEA. My only complaint is the AI voice doesn't show emotion well, mispronounced words, and always reads in a male voice so you can't tell who's talking sometimes. I got this book on a great sale so I'm not upset. If I'd payed full price I'd be disappointed.

Good story

I liked the story and the writing for the most part. I didn’t find it cheesy, but I felt like the romance progressed too quickly.

The virtual voice narration was an interesting experience. I’ve never heard this in an audio book before (outside of monotone text books!). I didn’t hate it, but the sex scenes would have been more steamy with some emotion ;) The AI was good for the most part, and I forgot I wasn’t listening to a real person sometimes. The voice itself was pleasant.

Overall I did enjoy this one. But I only gave it 4/5 bc the sexy times would have been downright gripping with more emotion rather than AI.

Not my favorite

I thought the book was just an ok read. All of the action transpired really quickly and wasn’t really a believable experience because of that.. I listen to audio books all the time and absolutely hated the virtual voice narration. There was just no emotion like you get with an actual narrator. I won’t be listening to a book with virtual voice again. It really made me dislike it from the beginning.

So, Overall the storyline was ok but i think it could have been written in a little different sequence and please let an actual narrator do the audio if you are going to put a book on audible.. Andy Arndt and Sebastian York never disappoint!

too fast and a no to AI

lt seems to progress way too fast based on all the obstacles in their way, which is unrealistic in my opinion. AI has no emotion and unable to determine who is speaking. I have to listen closely for the use of pronouns to know who was speaking. Not sure if I will finish.

Ended up, not listening to all of it due to the virtual voice. the storyline seem to be OK but no emotions and couldn’t tell who was talking. I’ll never listen to another virtual voice book.

No real snappy story line

This virtual voice is not becoming to get The mood of the story very boring. So much talking on their F……. Where’s the love in the emotion of whar should be the story. Instead the details on how to come.
