This is the first Lucy Stone Mystery I have read. It was entertaining and suspenseful. I enjoyed the realism of the characters and the plot. I would enjoy listening to other books in this series.

Let me start by saying I usually love Leslie Meier books. This one did not meet my expectations. First there is the narration that was hard to handle. Karen White tried to use a thick Maine accent which made it at times difficult to understand. Second was the CD breaks, I am not accustomed to this with audible.com. It really broke the story as it stated that this is the end of the CD. It needed to be edited out. Then there is the story itself which was pretty far fetched and more racy than her other books. I prefer a cleaner book by her.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I don't know what the problem was with the narration. She sounded like she was always out of breath. Very frustrating. Can't recommend because of narration
Would you recommend Chocolate Covered Murder to your friends? Why or why not?
No narration not good
Would you be willing to try another one of Karen White’s performances?
Absolutely not
Could you see Chocolate Covered Murder being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
no, not good enough story
