After I finished the ‘90’s trilogy (and loved it), I needed to know what happened to Minty. His story was difficult, but in the end it was as brilliant as his character. I love his non binary representation. Back in the ‘90’s, I had a mostly straight guy friend who wore dresses and painted his nails. I hope and pray that my grand daughters grow up in a world where nobody assumes a damned thing about anyone’s sexuality and that how someone looks or how someone loves doesn’t define their goodness and worth. This entire book series was wonderful, and I wish it wasn’t over.

So good

I fell in love with minty in the 90s coming of age trilogy. Though he was just a side character Leta really made him come alive, even though he wasn’t the star of that particular show. In true minty style, he was obviously begging to be the star of his own show, and that is exactly what he is in this story. Though BDSM isn’t really my thing, I have read quite a few of them ,and a lot of times I skipped through the scenes. I rarely did that in this though, because I think the BDSM was so very important in minty’s healing journey. I really liked Luke and minty together and the only complaint about the story I really have is that I wished it would’ve happened over a longer length of time, though I do love the postscript at the end. But I wonder if it would’ve seemed a little more realistic, I guess, if it had happened Over a year rather than just four months. Still though a great story and when I highly recommend.

Minty!

SPOILERS! Beautiful story and narration. It took me a little to grasp the concept of BDSM and Dom/Sub scenario. Mostly becuase I’m not that knowledgeable in it. However, towards a quarter of the book in, I understood it mostly and Monty’s way of using BDSM to essentially heal himself. I cried, smiled, laughed and jumped for joy when I read the post-script. It was actually pretty hot too. And I love the way the author wrote Monty’s character and his journey and Luke as well. I was wondering about what would happen with them. But I’m happy it worked out. I was wondering about this book, I saw it on my list of suggestions and there wasn’t a whole lot of people talking about it. So I took a leap of faith and I was so shocked. It was just amazing and tearful and surprising and all the adjectives lol I will read this again and again. I 100% recommend

PAINFUL AND WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY👏👏

I usually don't write reviews here, but the story was so well done that I felt compelled. The original trilogy is among my favorite series for its realistic quality, how much care was taken with each of the characters, the amazing voicing, and more. I had hoped there might be more books to come in that world, and was completely blown away by this piece. It can be gritty, and while some trigger warnings at the beginnings of books seem...more obligatory than useful, the trigger warning here is very appropriate. If you have the ability to take a step back from some of the individual words, themes, or happenings to view them as necessary parts to show of a character's emotional state and development, i think you'll find that development and the overall story very rewarding. Nothing portrayed felt like frivolous titillation. They're real issues that the characters are dealing with in the best ways they can. A Beautiful story, honest, and emotional with Minty, a character we all love. I truly hope that we end up with a trilogy about Adam going forward, another character that deserves a rewarding end.

A Beautiful and Emotional Standalone Addition
