A little girl named Kai lived on the beach with her parents. One day she went for a walk on the beach and came across a flock of seagulls. She was amazed, so she laid flat on her stomach, watching the scenery, searching out for a little winged friend.
The little winged seagull she named Kea lives near the beach. The seagull brings seashells to Kai anytime she is on the beach. One day, Kai found that a bird was strangled by a plastic bag that was dumped on the beach; she thought that her friend Kea had died.

Great Book!
I thought this was a great book because it had a good storyline that was meaningful. I thought the narration was very well done. I was driving in the car when I listened to the story and couldn’t wait to get back into my car to hear what happened next, when I had to stop to run errands. I felt the emotion of the character, which is not always the case. Good job! I will be recommending it to others.
