My Fair Verona

Ross Lake was a small and quiet town, the kind where everyone knows each other. When Sara Jensen, a 22-year-old graduate of the police academy, took a position with the Ross Lake Police Department, she never expected to see any action.

Then one day, a couple of hikers come across a woman's body in the woods. Sara and her veteran partner, Harold Dunn, are thrown into a world of secrets and horror as they investigate her murder. Dunn and Jensen aren't the only ones who want a confession, though. A malevolent spirit is also seeking revenge and clings to the world of the living through the people it knew in life, but the police can't prosecute the dead, so Dunn and Jensen must stop the spirit to save their suspect.

Enjoyable Supernatural Mystery

The story begins normally in that there is no hint of supernatural. Eventually the supernatural creeps in with moderate flair which is perfect to keep all of the characters questioning if what they think happened really happened. There were some elements of the story that felt rushed but overall was forgivable. Overall the story is enjoyable and the narrator has a great cadence and variety of voices for the characters.

Look forward to hearing this narrator more often in the future. Really enjoyed his performance

I really loved the Narrator's voice, it gives me 40's film noir vibes. It is Great book and I enjoyed listening to it.

If you are in the market for a GOOD Scary Mystery Horror story to listen to that will keep you hooked this is the one for you

loved the story Ryan quale did a fantastic job on the narration he did such a great job I have listened to it 3 times in the last 2 weeks
