Zorian Kazinski has all the time in the world to get stronger, and he plans on taking full advantage of it.

A teenage mage of humble birth and slightly above-average skill, Zorian is attending his third year of education at Cyoria's magical academy. A driven and quiet young man, he is consumed by a desire to ensure his own future and free himself of the influence of his family, resenting the Kazinskis for favoring his brothers over him. Consequently, Zorian has no time for pointless distractions, much less other people's problems.

As it happens, though, time is something he is about to get plenty of.

On the eve of Cyoria's annual summer festival, Zorian is murdered, then abruptly brought back to the beginning of the month, just before he was about to take the train to school. Finding himself trapped in a time loop with no clear end or exit, he will have to look both within and without to unravel the mystery set before him. He does have to unravel it, too, because the loop clearly wasn’t made for his sake, and in a world of magic even a time traveler isn't safe from those who wish him ill.

Fortunately for Zorian, repetition is the mother of learning….

First time the voice acting has let me down.

Loved the book hated the performance. All of the over the top accents weren't for me personally. The story is quite good

Well that was excellent

All I can say is I can not wait for the next book. So much fun. Jack did a great job with narration.

Great Story

The pacing of the story was great and the book was overall exciting and interesting. I wasn’t as keen on the narrators female voices but overall I really enjoyed this.

Good read

Just a note to other reviewers. Learn how to spell chief before you review a book. I enjoyed this book. Narration is a little dry but I felt it was done well.

great story not so great narration

this was a great story started off a little slow but i got so much better the only problem is the narration it made it hard to be invested in the story

Fantastic!

What a great concept, great story, and great character development! The narrator's choice in voices for the little sister and a few others is incredibly annoying and I wish he'd done something more tolerable. But the effort was there and overall the narration was quite enjoyable.

This book ends in a cliff hanger. Personally, this is incredibly frustrating when the next book isn't available yet... So if you're like me, maybe buy the book (support the author so they know they should continue the story!) and then wait to listen until the next is out.

Can't wait for act 2!

Beginning is kind of a slog.

It takes about 4? hours for it to start going, a good amount of the female characters sound annoying as hell.

The MC is also a whiny little b**** until things start going. He does get better.

So if you hate slow starts and a whiny MC and don't wanna power through I'd avoid this.

Overall though I liked it.

Amazing Writing

Love this series, the writing is great and little things that seem unimportant end up being extremely important later

some of the voices are a little off but still good

The story is interesting however some of the female voices are really not good. Sample the novel before buying and you should immediately understand. However not all the voices are that bad and if you can past it there is a good story there.
