So addictive!

I found this series completely by accident in kindle, and took a chance on the audio before even starting to read. Gone gods damn this story for being so addictive, with such perfectly fitting narration! I'm completely hooked, and none of the other books in the Gone Gods world seem to be in audiobook :-/

Great characters!

Really great books. Love the characters and situations. Narrator was absolutely perfect for this part. Highly recommended series.

OUTSTANDING STORY WORK

I'd absolutely love to see this as a series, having said that the story itself is so unique that I am completely amazed that the author has a brain that can bring us into this world and the detail is incredible! I'm actually speechless...... and completely engrossed in this incredible world!

This book is a twist on mortality. A person who has been recently turned, and fighting on her mortality. Everyone is trying to figure out what life is all about not even monsters are immune to social endeavors. We all need to figure out who we are.

Vampire instincts and back to human.

Can you survive giving up your strength and immortality? Now go to college and try to make friends with regular humans and others who used to be more. Throw in people trying to kill the people who used to be vampires. ohhhh your mother is there is back from the undead. she has issues that are defined in the DSM-V.

Worth the listen

I really enjoyed the story and the narrator! Look forward to listening to the rest of the series!

entrancing

I think this is my new favorite female narrator. I enjoyed all of the characters voices. she weaves the authors words magically with her accents and pauses. she has excellent voice control and intonation. this author writes a book that brings good old fashioned myth and misunderstanding into a boil that grips the reader and encourages holding on to the book (or listening attentively this listener's case) like a Rollercoaster. I'll be looking for more by both this author and this narrator.

I love the twist this book series gives to the supernatural and Gods. I find myself smiling at comments the main character makes thinking how realistic she is
