This was an extremely helpful book.

The book is perfect because it is made to the audio format. It combines the theory with the practical guided meditation tracks. It is structured to be followed as a course, so with just a little commitment one could complete it easily. Said that, meditation is not going to solve all your life problems, but you will learn about yourself and your body. It is also a good reminder so we enjoy all the things we take for granted. Thank you Alice Bowman

Thoroughly enjoyed this

Great book, easy- to- follow suggestions

I love the way you get an introduction to mindfulness in this book in the first section and then a whole host of exercises in the second part. Easy and portable! You choose your favourite exercise and can access it easily on the go! Thank you so much Alice Bowman

Great Info & Guide on Mindfulness!

It's a long audio book, but it is definitely worth it! Great background information as well as useful and practical tips on being more mindful, reducing stress, and being present. love it

Educational and thought provoking

I really enjoyed these lectures. They were clear and thought provoking. It lived up to the high standards of "Great Courses". I may listen to parts of it again. Highly recommend it.

An excellent self help book

The book covers how our minds and brains work and shows the benefits of mindfulness across a number of disciplines. There are some excellent exercise that are well described to cater for everybody. Very insightful and enjoyable. I would recommend this to people interested in this topic.

Good meditations, I use this audiobook in the morning to reduce stress, anxiety relief, and overcome depression to start the day with a simple mindfulness meditation.

Everyone could benefit from this content

This book is very clearly written and easy to understand. It has the best explanation of mindfulness I've ever listen. The author really makes you want to try mindfulness and makes it easy to try and not to be scared of. Highly recommend this book - best book on Mindfulness.

Phenomenal in content and presentation.

I've heard much about Mindfulness from a spiritual standpoint and while I liked the principles, I couldn't fully submit. Until I came across this. This course helped me bridge the gap of uncertainty I had on beginning meditation with this scientific research approach. Now I'm completely sold and can report a huge difference in my outlook and perception of many things in life. This was a life-changing book, very grateful to have found it!
