Stevie: I've been a flight attendant for years. I thought I'd see it all, but when my new job lands me onboard working for the most egotistical and self-righteous diva in the NHL, I start to second guess everything. Including the promise I made to myself of never hooking up with an athlete again . . . no matter how annoyingly tempting he may be.

Zanders is unfiltered, unapologetic, and too attractive for his own good. He loves his image, but I hate everything about it.

Narrators kill the story

If you want to feel like your parents are reading you a spicy story, you will like this.

Great Read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The mmc was kind of an a-hole but not overwhelmingly so. He had redeeming qualities that made up for it. The mfc was very likeable. Her faults were not ridiculously obnoxious as some romance writers tend to create in female leads. She was relatable and real. I also enjoyed the dynamics between the support characters. They weren't unnecessary but had genuine purpose. Overall, a very good read.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!

If I depended on the negative comments about the narrators I would probably not have read the book. But I’m so happy I did it. The narrator voices matched the story. Most 28 year old male voices I’ve ever heard is deep and masculine. Thank you Winston James for another amazing read 💜

Narration was perfection!!

After listening further into the chapters and hearing the description of the characters, they both aligned and were perfection. Thank you so much for adding the diversity of the characters . Great, great storytelling and very descriptive.

This book hurt my feelings

But I loved every second of it. I don’t usually vibe with third act breakups but this one was spectacularly executed and Zee and his Stevie Girl are honestly such relationship goals. And the mental health rep? And shelter pups? Swoon.

Mental Health Advocacy!!

As much as I hate the miscommunication trope the way the characters set boundaries with each other and with the people that have hurt them is great to see in a book. It’s not that common. Great book can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Way too long

It was a decent story. It just could’ve been considerably shorter and gotten the same point across.

Player to lover boy!

Player meets a not his typical girl, turned lover boy. From family dynamics, some spice to confidence building, and self love development, this truly was a great book!

Very adorable story

This was a nice and very realistic story. Narrators did a good job. I love that both the FMC and MMC grew to be better versions of themselves. This is speaks positively about mental and emotional health and therapy. Very good banter between the two as well. HEA ending 🖤

Great read!

The book is well written and the plot keeps you hooked. They narration was awesome and their voices were quite appealing.
