Interesting

Oddly enough I really enjoyed this book and I didn't think i would because of the synopsis but the main character turned out to be very likable unlike most female main characters that are created. She's not weak or a crybaby and she shows up to fight and let's you know who boss

Funny and a character like me. Quality writing, engaging story and characters with a pleasing, easy to listen to narrator.

Great story!

I won this audiobook in a giveaway. The story is a funny paranormal with a 40+ year old female lead heroine. Her maturity and no nonsense attitude is refreshing! The storyline is interesting and entertaining! Kick butt fun & scenes! Loved the story! Ms. Fortgang did a wonderful job bringing the story to life by providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene!

New to me

I have been looking for a new series of fiction, laddie I found it. I thought I could never find one as good as I have been listening to, with the perfect narrator as well. Then here I sit blown away, the book is fantastic but it's nothing without the narrator that can do dialect, different voices, and I just love it. Thank you both

The two together make for an amazing read / listen and I can't wait for the next book. I'd buy the whole series now if I could.

I love that the main character is a woman in her 40's. Finally a cheeky, wise older woman kicking butt and needing advil afterwards. Can't wait for the next book

Well-read, well-written

I could not stop laughing. There’s something amusing in every chapter. Every time I think I know what’s going on, something else is said that makes me question what I thought I was sure was going to happen.
The repeated “Himself” reference took a little getting used to. As I understand it, that can be a Dom-Sub type reference thing, but I don’t know if it’s offensive (really not my area). By the end, there were several questions still unanswered and even some new ones that popped up at the end… likely to keep you reading so that you won’t stop at just the first book, but it’s worth it and very well made.

So refreshing, amusing and fabulous

This is the first in series and Breena is my new favorite FMC. Over 40 and all out of ducks to give, stepping back into the shadow world after her divorce. This book is a must read, so very very good!!!!!
