Awesome

Shannon Mayer has kept the Forty Proof series alive with this latest addition to the series. All the characters we’ve grown to know and love are present. The storyline is intriguing and kept me wanting to keep listening until the very end.
Lauren Fortgang as always gave a stellar performance as she breathed life into her storyline and gave each character that own distinct voice.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to paranormal mystery fans.

Couldn't stop listening

I loved this whole series. what a way to end it. But maybe it isn't the end? Shannon is such a great Storyteller and Lauren is an amazing narrator.

Excellent

Different points of views in stories is always cool! Some surprises, twists, heartache, & non-stop action will keep the listener on the edge of their seat laughing, rooting, and occasionally crying. I did not want to pause the audiobook. This story did not disappoint. So, be prepared to be entertained. The narrators did an awesome job bringing the story to life! I received a free copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Nonstop action!

The dual POV narration in the final book is everything!!
Nonstop action, very well paced! New threats and don’t forget the hilarious moments just times perfectly.
The author knows how to balance the tension perfectly!
The narrators, Lauren Fortgang and
James Fouhey knocked it out of the park! Together they really breathed life into Bree, Crash, and the other characters.
The ending was everything I hoped for and more. Saying goodbye to these characters is bittersweet, but this is one series I'll definitely be recommending to everyone!

I couldn’t put it down!

I am so sad that the series is over but what a fantastic ending! I couldn’t put the book down. The pace was steady and exciting throughout the entire story. The characters are endearing and the narration is outstanding. I wish I could go back and listen to it again the first time.

An exciting conclusion to the series!

Wow, this is the last book of this series and boy is it a doozy! Bree is kidnapped, as well as two friends, so the dangerous spell can be cast. Bree is very resourceful, but this is a tough situation. Can she find a way to escape? Listen to this fantastic conclusion ........will vampires start filing the streets? New allies, betrayal, and family secrets. Will a determined Crash find her? This action-packed book is filled with danger, demons, prophesy, Bramble, vampires, witches, Dark Fae, Nancy, Sentinels, Seer, magic, spells, family, ghosts, mages, subterfuge, memories, love, humor, graveyards, Bree’s crew, battles and more!

Well written with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. I look forward to the next book.

Shannon Mayer never disappoints!

This story is amazing, so many twist and turns I don't want the series to end! I love these characters so much they have become a part of my life. I will read this series over and over. The female narrator Lauren Fortgang was amazing as usual! I could have done without the male narrator. It's like he didn't listen to any of the past books. The voices didn't match what we were already used to and he pronounced names incorrectly. It was quite annoying. I couldn't wait until his parts were done. Maybe one day we'll get a rerecord with just Lauren.

Epic finale

I knew this was the last book of the series. I’ve known it was coming but I absolutely was not prepared. I was not prepared to love these characters so much and have such a hard time saying goodbye to them.

All of the key players in this series come together for an explosive finale. Lines are drawn, loyalties are tested and hearts are broken. I cried, I laughed and I screamed along with the characters until the very end. What an amazing series with an incredible ending.

This was a great series. I almost wish it wouldn't end. The author has created a world to keep the reader engaged.
