Awesome

Shannon Mayer has kept the Forty Proof series alive with this latest addition to the series. All the characters we’ve grown to know and love are present. The storyline is intriguing and kept me wanting to keep listening until the very end.
Lauren Fortgang as always gave a stellar performance as she breathed life into her storyline and gave each character that own distinct voice.
I highly recommend this book/audiobook to paranormal mystery fans.

Couldn't stop listening

I loved this whole series. what a way to end it. But maybe it isn't the end? Shannon is such a great Storyteller and Lauren is an amazing narrator.

I couldn’t put it down!

I am so sad that the series is over but what a fantastic ending! I couldn’t put the book down. The pace was steady and exciting throughout the entire story. The characters are endearing and the narration is outstanding. I wish I could go back and listen to it again the first time.

An exciting conclusion to the series!

Wow, this is the last book of this series and boy is it a doozy! Bree is kidnapped, as well as two friends, so the dangerous spell can be cast. Bree is very resourceful, but this is a tough situation. Can she find a way to escape? Listen to this fantastic conclusion ........will vampires start filing the streets? New allies, betrayal, and family secrets. Will a determined Crash find her? This action-packed book is filled with danger, demons, prophesy, Bramble, vampires, witches, Dark Fae, Nancy, Sentinels, Seer, magic, spells, family, ghosts, mages, subterfuge, memories, love, humor, graveyards, Bree’s crew, battles and more!

Well written with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. I look forward to the next book.

Great Conclusion to a Great Series

This was a great end to a great series. Both narrators did a great job portraying Bree and Crash's perspective.

Could have been better

Since this seems to be the final book I'm going to finish it, otherwise I would have given up. Nothing against the male narrator, but I just haven't enjoyed this book much at all because of him. It seems like the accent for Crash changes throughout and the narration just seems boring and the humor that I enjoyed in the previous books is just missing in this one. I mean I guess it's there but it just doesn't seem as funny as when Lauren Fortgang was narrating. I understand that most of this is from Crash's point of view, but it's just not as good as the previous books. I've really enjoyed this series, but this book falls flat to me.

Male Narrator is TOO DRAMATIC

I loved the story and am so sad for it to end, however, the male narrator was really annoying. In his quest to make things exciting, he spoke with so much unnecessary DRAMA!! It actually diluted the parts that really were dramatic and exciting. I couldn't wait for his parts to end. The female narrator, on the other hand, is amazing.

All good things must come to an end

Not gonna lie, I’m sad about it. But dang, what a way to go! This last installment hit the ground running! Talk about pure adrenaline and edge of your seat action! I thoroughly enjoyed the dual POV. I feel like it enhanced the whole immersion process. The twists, the turns, all the feels were perfect and brought an end to the series with just the right amount of closure. I’m gonna miss this motley crew but I look forward to seeing what else Mayer has tucked in that brain of hers. Forward and onward to the next adventure!
