Publisher's Summary

From NY Times and USA Today best-selling author!

Max Andrade: rich, bold, unapologetic. He is a man who doesn't hear the word no - until he meets Tara. In his obsession to have her, he'll offer her anything - except his heart.

Tara Holmes: outspoken, hardworking, levelheaded. She makes her living by exposing unfaithful spouses. She doesn't believe in love, especially not with a man who sees her as nothing more than a challenge.

When Madison D'Argenson hires Tara to uncover the truth about Aunt Patrice, Tara is pulled into Max's world. How far would you go to help a man who doesn't want to be helped? And how long would you give yourself over to the pleasure of his touch if you knew it would end as soon as he discovered your lie?

Maddie's voice

Listening to the performance of Maddie is painful--fingernails on a blackboard. I can't grasp why it was allowed.

Not generally into romance, but...

But, this story took off and captured me right from the beginnings and. I loved it.
I also love a talented narrator. This narrator is excellent. Good passing. Her voice is always pulling you into the story and never a distraction from it. Well done all the way around!

Great Book!

Any additional comments?

This is a great book; this is the third book in The Andrades series written by Ruth Cardellos and narrated by Kim Thompson. Max Andrade is rich, bold and doesn’t hear the word no. Tara Homes is outspoken, hardworking, and levelheaded. She makes her living by exposing unfaithful spouses. When Madison D’Argenson hires Tara to uncover the truth about Aunt Patrice.

The narrator Kim Thompson, did a wonderful job, and was very easy to listen too. She did a great job with the different characters and their voices.

This book has a great story; if you are looking for a great romance, then you need to get this book. I am looking forward to the next book by this author. Once I started listening to this book, I didn’t want to stop until the end.

A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Love this series

I can't find anything about the Andreas that I don't like. The whole family is worth reading about. I loved them since the Legacy series. I would highly recommend bought series. I read them and have some on Audible which is great because I love how the narrator gets into the story and changes the voices for the characters.

Loved it

Loved it!! These Andrade stories keep getting better and better! This book is about Max Andrade. The lone wolf brother who is tired of his dysfunctional family and all their drama. He thinks life is better lived alone. That is until he meets Tara Holmes and everything he thought he wanted doesn't look quite the same. When the secrets of his family and why Tara is really hanging around are discovered his new found feelings are truly put to the test.

This book and the entire series is so well done it grabs you right from the start and you want to really get to know each one of these characters. I highly recommend this book and the series.

A little of everything...sadness, attraction, love

It was a little absurd the way the closed off, womanizer Max fell for Tara.
The story was easy to listen but not amazing. Too fast for them just to fall in love and for him to get back to his brothers.
Worth the time, light w/ a bit of suspense at the end...
