Interesting Story Arcs, Wrong Narrator

3.5 Stars

The stories of the Incubus Masters and different houses is pretty cool world building. It keeps the standard fated mates tropes from getting so stale.

The authors did a good job of keeping the writing consistent between stories.

Developing mystery of big bad and bigger bad with conspiracy makes for intriguing read.

The narrator was nasally and not what I would have expected at all. She mispronounced a lot of names and a few words and it was just a really weird…Midwestern accent maybe? Very strange for a bunch of Italian and international main characters.

What a fascinating insight into the supernatural world of demons, angels and humans! It is super hot and one needs a fan to keep the temperature down! The narration by Erika Rapson is exquisite! Well worth the listen!

All authors worked together for a series that is really great! I can't wait for the next book.

"He" not "She"!!!

The narrator pissed me off the whole time! She kept saying "She" instead of "He"!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh!
