They both lost their parents young, and while Hartley navigated the grief and managed to live a reasonably content life, Mira ran from her grief. She avoided coming back home, because every time she does, she gets drawn back into Hartley's orbit. And she's always left again.

Now Mira's grandmother Lolly has engineered a way to push Mira back into Hartley's arms.

Adriana Locke writes easy to read, low drama romance with a lot of heat and always a Happy Ever After. The characters are relatable and the swoon is usually off the charts.

What a delicious, spicy read!! Mira & Hartley may not be perfect, but their perfect friendship made a marriage of convenience to a real marriage absolutely believable. It’s a beautiful thing to know your friend so well and be able to trust the next step forward with them. Their story proves that if you're meant to be with someone, no matter how many years go by love will always conquer all. If you're into small town romances, witty banter, cowboys, and smutty scenes - you need to read this book!
Sadie Provost & Scott Rose are new to me narrators. They do a great job bringing the characters to life. Their captivating performance keeps you enthralled from beginning to end.
