This is an amazing story!

I absolutely love this story. True to military standards. I loved the FRIENDS reference. Narration was perfect.

I absolutely loved it! The narration was superb and gave the story that extra flair! It will keep you entertained. The author did an amazing job with the character builds and plot. This was my first book by this author but not my last. I look forward to reading more books from this author. a real story of love

Really enjoyed this story. Plenty of steam and I wondered where the romance or HEA could come in - you'll have to read to know - but this is a really great story of how relationships can grow and change over time and distance. I think the narration was a little stilted but still good. I felt that overall this was a very realistic read with characters who are flawed and their reactions to situations was just so true to life. A great read!

Splendid

Love's Survival was an excellent listen, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Parker Lee wrote a wonderful romance with a great plot and even better characters. I was quite impressed. Connor Brown's performance was outstanding. His narration was well-paced, and he did a good job with the character differentiation. Definitely, worth the listen!!

good read

Didnt think I would like this book at first by the end I didn't want it to be over.

Real life?

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Parker Lee. It's mostly well written with a great storyline, but characters that had to grow on me. There were times I loved it and then hated it. Started to like it again, then boom, disliked, again. Ugh. The back and forth of their relationship was annoying. Someone willingly having sex with another person after finding who they believe to be the love of their life doesn't make sense to me. The roommate (Eve?) who wouldn't take no for an answer made me angry. I also hated how Kelsey compared Tony (?) and Craig and found Craig lacking in sex, but she could deal with it. Really? What happened with the dog, Pete, and Craig?

I will admit that the steamy scenes were steamy! One thing I keep going back to was their reactions were probably closer to real life than most romances I read. Although I question if threesomes were common in early 2000's. There wasn't any insta love here.

I accepted a code for this book because of the narrator, Connor Brown. His performance was excellent. He has a great voice that is easy to listen to for long periods of time. Definitely a favorite narrator.
