Matthew is so well-spoken, genuine and sincere in his sharing of experiences and stories. I’ve been following his YouTube channel for years, but this piece of work is on an entirely different level.
Finished over two days and will likely be re-listening in the future.

I loved it so much, it’s so thoughtful and insightful and full of encouragement. I’m going to get a physical copy so I can highlight and rerun to certain passages that really helped me.

I appreciate Matthew’s transparency about his personal story, the offering of practical steps to examining ourselves and others while dating and building relationships, and lastly the emphasis on developing a core confidence. We can always look our best on the outside, which might “get the guy”, but will that find us happiness?

Love the range of depth and practicality in this book! Much needed read for in this season of life. Thank you!

My Favorite Book!

Rewriting my review because I couldn't correct some typos. lol and it's I rate it all 5 ⭐ across the board.
This book is full of Gems! The wisdom is on point. I've looked forward to this book for a while now and I'm so happy it's here. Matthew took me on an emotional journey into seeing my reality for what it really is in this one-sided love life I've been in for a couple of years now. I needed this to finally lite the fuse to incinerate this cancerous relationship to make space for true healing. Thanks to Matthew's guidance on this book, many more people will have an Awakening. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!. It took me the entire day to read it, I couldn't put it down, or even go to bed until I finished it. I purchased both, the audiobook and the hard cover copy. This book will be my go-to gift for my friends and family. this book is a must have in any book love's libraries and Specially for anyone who is not in a healthy relationship at the moment.

It applies to anyone who is working on creating more loving and full-filled relationships. It has been bringing healing to a mindset that has had me stuck for a couple of years and it can be applied to healing across all relationships because it addresses the core of who we are and why we react the way we do and I am not even at the end of the book!💕

Wow! This book has easily become one of my favorite self help books of all time. By far, number one. It has been my light in the darkest point of my life. I’ve waited months for this!! Enjoyed the book so much that I bought audio too!

I've been looking forward to this book ever since I heard it was coming out! My favorite chapters were the ones on core confidence and managing (physical and emotional) pain, plus the relationship advice is also the best anywhere. Plus Matthew's British accent in this audio version doesn't hurt. ;)

I've been following Matthew for years and what he shares in the book is golden. It's not about game-playing but rather staying true to yourself and upholding your standards, which is what will ultimately attract the best person for you. But he also goes into the things that KEEP a relationship going and thriving once you've found someone, which I think is just as important.

There's a vulnerability, a thoughtfulness and care (and humor, where appropriate) that goes into these chapters that helps them drive their points home even more deeply. And I love the fact that he started the book when he was single and by the time he finished, he was married!

I know this is Matthew Hussey's first book in more than a decade, but I hope he doesn't wait that long to release another one! I know this is one I'll return to again. Can't recommend it highly enough!

Must Read!

This book was exactly what I needed to hear. It made gray areas seem more black and white with how we communicate with and read others. Very good concepts that all people need to hear. The author is very emotionally intelligent and makes things so understandable. Love this book and highly recommend to others

Something for everyone from a courageously vulnerable author.

I dropped so many curse words right at the start of this book as Matt hit every nail on the head it was ridiculous. I even knew that some of them were coming!

This book is a fantastic way to reframe your life. If you're heart broken, it can help you to move on. If you're searching, it can help you to stop repeating unhealthy patterns, and if you're taken out can help you to keep that relationship healthy and sexy or to escape if it's toxic. The way he helps to reframe your mind with the concepts in this book is something that has helped thousands for years.

Oh... and Matt... I know some of your own vulnerabilities that you share in this book were really hard for you. Thank you for leaving them in there. They were real "Ah a human!" kind of moments.
