Publisher's Summary

I was already in love, you know. Before the ring. Before the grand gesture. I was yours.

The first time Parker Alling set eyes on his future husband, he was eight years old, and he punched him in the face. It was the moment his life with Ronan Hedrek was tied together in knots that could never be undone. An MS diagnosis, a marriage, and a decade later, and Parker knows everything is as it should be.

Then, Jonas Woods came to town.

Reserved and shy, Parker knows he has his work cut out for him once he realizes how much his husband wants the younger man. And he understands why Ronan is absolutely captivated. Jonas has a spark in him, even if he’s only ever looked at himself and seen darkness. But Ronan is patient and Parker is determined, and together they know there’s room in their life for one more.

The only question is, will that quiet, lonely man finally let Parker and Ronan love him absolutely wild?

Absolutely loved this!!

I loved Nick Hudson's audio delivery in this one.

It was a sweet, wholesome, opposites attract romance.

The characters were likeable and well fleshed out and the writing style appealed to me.

The storyline was engaging and an enjoyable listen overall.

Polyamorous monogamy

If you like storylines about polyamorous triads, you might like this book. Overall the plot is fairly decent- a solidly committed married couple adding a committed third to their family. If you’ve read the other books in this series, this book seems to cover much of what you already know about the young life of the two mc’s but with more details. I had a difficult time with this book because the first 8 or so chapters focus on early life of the main couple, then BAM there is an entire long detailed chapter about the childhood of a brand new character who seems to have nothing to do with the first part of the book. There was no segue at all and because I was listening to audio vs reading I literally checked twice to see if perhaps I accidentally switched books. This was probably the worst introduction of a new character I’ve ever read. I’ve noticed with this series that Lindsey switches between past and present events and the transitions are sometimes abrupt. I give the book 4 stars because despite the disjointed way the first half is presented, the second half of the book seems much smoother than the first and the plot is decent.

I Enjoyed the Story & Narration

Nick Hudson does a great job of narrating by bringing the story and characters to life. Getting a chance to see how Ronan’s and Parker’s story spans over the years through their struggles and baggage added depth to the story. There was some angst but the listener gets to see how Jonas could be the missing piece these two never knew they needed. It was nice seeing them on their journey to HEA.

Love this Series

I absolutely LOVE this series and this book didn't disappoint. We've met both Parker and Ronan in the previous books. They are now married. When Jonas comes to town because of his father things start to change on how he feels about changing things in the town. Parker & Ronan are both attracted to Jonas and they have a threesome with Jonas moving in with them after he has to go back home to settle things after his father is no longer able to run the business. I can't wait for the next book.

Nick does a fantastic job narrating the story.

I received an ARC of this audio for my honest review.

Ronan, Parker and Jonas

In EM Lindsey’s 3rd book of the ‘On the Market’ series readers receive a glimpse into the backstory of established couple Ronan and Parker. They’ve now been married for ten years when new man in town, Jonas, might present more than just an attraction for the couple. All three men begin to consider whether they can make a life together as a polyamorous trio.

With Ronan’s MS, Parker’s jerk-y attitude and little-boy-lost Jonas, it’s no wonder there’s a high reading on the angst-o-meter. This is not to say that I consider it to be overwrought. Lindsay gives the reader reasonable explanations for both internal and external angst with each character. It’s there to allow each character to grow more accepting of themselves while also growing into a three-partnered relationship.

This audiobook is superbly narrated by Nick Hudson. He has a great ability to create distinct voices. His performance perfectly suits Lindsey’s writing style.

This book was given to me as a free review copy that I requested. These are my voluntary opinions of it.

Recommended.

Amazing

Nick Hudson is slowly becoming a favourite narrator of mine. He’s not someone I actively sought out before but now I find myself looking for books he’s done.
He has this sweetness to his voice that I enjoy, and bring a level of endearment to the story that I really love.
The story is excellent of course and I loved it when I read it so much that I listened to the audio too!

An Emotional Love Story

I liked the relationship between Parker, Ronan, and Jonas, but I wanted more of Parker and Ronan. I loved all three men, but Ronan really stuck out for me. I felt so bad for Parker and Ronan and their tragic start both as kids and as adults. Jonas didn’t have the best father but having Parker and Ronan there to help him see his worth was beautiful.

This was an emotional story and Nick Hudson blew it out of the water with his amazing narration. He knows how to draw the emotions out. I loved that each character had their own voices.

Enjoyed!

Nick Hudson does a terrific job of narrating Love Him Wild. He brings the story and characters to life.
Ronan’s and Parker’s story spans many years and ups and downs. When they meet Jonas it seems to be the missing piece they never knew they needed.
I loved going on their journey as they navigated their way to their HEA.

Liked and surprised

I was not expecting this story to go the way it did. I was really expecting a love story between Parker and Ronan. So when Jonas came into the picture it threw me a bit.

I didn’t mind the trifecta romance but it took me a minute to get my head straightened after expecting the other.

The narration was good, though with the three heroes I got a little confused in places but nothing that deterred me from listening.

Not my favorite from the series but I did enjoy it!

A strong couple with a third 💚💙💛

Ronan and Parker have loved each other since their teens. But a fire accident separated them. Parker is a special one. He has some dark humor and Ronan complements him. As a married couple they meet Jonas. As much as they love each other, having Jonas is truly appealing and the chemistry shared is hot. Nick Hudson does a great job telling their story.

Fantastic addition

Another brilliant addition to the series by EM Lindsey, a story where the character feel real. It was a pleasure to revisit the small town with great character and to get to know them even better. Nick Hudson did an amazing job with the voices of the characters and overall narration. A series to be followed.

He completes them

Ronan and Parker had been in love with each other since they were teenagers but a tragic event separates them for years. Later when they are together again and happy they meet Jonas who is visiting Cherry Creek on business, he is something they never realised they were missing! Another fantastic installment in the Love On The Market series and brilliantly narrated by Nick Hudson.

A very interesting love story!

EM Lindsey's books had always a very strong effect on me. The intensity of the emotions, the difficult topic leading to despair and sadness but with a hint of hope that grew slowly leading to a wonderful ending. Ronan, Parker and Jonas's life story, feelings and heart and how their intertwined paths, led to this amazing emotional story. I got caught in the general sentiment of the story, I cried and laughed and sighed and struggled with everyone of them separately, but when they at last found a way to be together, the intensity of the story was angsty and wonderful all at the same time. At the end I was emotionally exhausted and all the love, romance and family trapped my heart again. Of course, after loving the ebook version so strongly, the audiobook was a must, so hearing the amazing performance of Mr Hudson was a blast.I enjoyed everything about his narration from his deep sexy voice, to his sweet and emotional reading, all summing up to get this captivating performance. Simply WOW!

What happens when you add two plus one?

This book starts in the past. Back when Ronan and Parker were teenagers. The story slots in with some of the backstory from the last In the Market book, so I found familiarity. In fact I knew Ronan and Parker eventually married, I just didn’t know the backstory. I knew Ronan had a chronic illness, but I didn’t know how it had all come about. The first few chapters of this book filled in those gaps quite nicely. By the time we hit present day, I had a good sense of the two men. How deep and abiding their love is. How they still have moments of struggle.

Like any normal couple does.

This book, however, offers happily ever after with a twist.

Jonas Woods coming to Cherry Creek is an unwanted surprise. His family business has bought some prime land and rumors are it’s going to be developed. City folks will move in and soon the locals won’t be able to afford things in their own little town. Prices will be out of reach and they’ll be driven away. It’s happened to other towns and is likely to happen to theirs.

But Jonas’ arrival also precipitates a change in Ronan and Parker’s relationship. They had never considered bringing a third into their marriage. They believed themselves to be staid men in their middle age, set in their ways. Then they witness how their partner reacts to Jonas and possibilities open up.

Jonas is uncertain in the world. He might be a high-powered executive, but his family situation has left him with zero confidence. He spends his time kowtowing to his powerful father and cleaning up the messes of his two younger brothers. Falling in love? With two men? Who live hundreds of miles from his home?

Not a good idea.

But the heart wants what the heart wants. I despaired of things ever working out, but it’s a romance and I was satisfied at the end. Definitely glad I picked up the book.

Finally, I’ll mention Nick Hudson. He does a great job with the story and I enjoy his narration of these books. And there are more to come, so yay!

What an amazing, emotional love story

Everything I thought I was expecting about Parker and Ronan was blown away in the first few chapters. Yes, I've met Parker as the dramatic, exuberant town doctor. Yes, I've seen glimpses of Ronan's gruff, isolated ways. But experiencing all the ups and downs of their journey, starting when they were just teenagers exploring their first crushes and transitioning into something heartbreaking and emotional and real.... it was incredible. I've never connected with characters in a story so wholeheartedly, and Nick Hudson's excellent narration made these men feel even more real to me. Everything about their years together and apart felt achingly real, and by the time Jonas came into the picture I was desperate to see how Elaine would work their magic and bring them together.

One of the things I love most about Elaine's stories is how they give each character space to deal with their emotions. Sometimes I read romances where love magically fixes everything that's wrong, and it just feels off and unrealistic. Ronan, Parker, and Jonas had each been through some difficult situations, and seeing how they worked through it, providing support and safety without sweeping everything under the rug, showed me how strong their connection really was.

Compared to some of the other books Elaine has written, this one was relatively angsty. Parker and Ronan's early years had some traumatic moments, and bringing Jonas into their relationship stirred up dormant feelings of unworthiness in all three men. But in my opinion, the angst isn't overwhelming. If anything, I think the darker patches are overshadowed by all the affection, tenderness, and incredibly steamy moments. By the time I reached the epilogue, I was filled to the brim with happiness. Out of all the happily-ever-afters Elaine has written, this one felt the most definitive to me. I got all the closure and satisfaction I was hoping for, and there's no doubt that these men are settled in and living their best lives.

A threesome done right

Great, realistic story of a threesome done right when an established couple is contemplating a third. I liked the slow methodic way Parker and Ronan approached the relationship with Jonas, each checking to make sure the other was on board, and assuring each other that they would be alright with just them and not adding Jonas; ergo that the other was enough and that Jonas would just make the whole relationship more. Jonas was an addition, not a replacement. And who could not love Jonas’ growth as he recovers and regains his independence from his ‘father’ and family. I would love to see him move forward and reclaim some of the dreams he gave up regarding his chosen career. Peter’s sudden removal as an obstacle was a bit blatant in the plotline, but I don’t see how else Jonas would ever have broken free.

I also really enjoyed the beginning of the book which detailed Parker and Ronan’s beginning, the fall-out from the fire that separated them, and how the friendship between Fitz, Ronan, and Parker was renewed. Fantastic back-story.

I really enjoyed the narration. The voices were varied and readily distinguished. The emotional scenes were well-voiced and touching. I really liked Parker’s accent, but I don’t recall the story ever discussing his roots. He sounded Irish to me, and I’m not sure there’s a large Irish population in Colorado. LOL.

Wow!

I was honestly not prepared for this story. Lindsey truly has a gift that draws a reader in, making them feel deeply for these characters. Parker, Jonas, and Ronan are three characters that leave a mark on the reader and emotions are high. I absolutely love the dynamic as well as their evolutions. Hudson's narration is amazing and just draws the listener deeper into the story. A great escape from the everyday for sure.

A Wild Love Story

This is Book 3 in the On The MArket series by E M Lindsey.

Cherry Creek , Colorado
The story tells in a series of flasbacks they love story of Ronan and Parker. They met at school at fourteen and loved each other then as they do now. Even though when their friend Fitz was burned in an accident while camping, Ronan ran and held them both at arms length out of sheer guilt.

Then alomg came Jonas, a developer's son who was destined to ruin Cherry Creek.
But Ronan and then Parker fell on love with him.
A sometimes heart wrenching story of love with a fabulous light at the end of the tunnel.
Parker is a pain in the arse , but loevable. Ronan is insecure, with reason. And Jonas is such a cutie.

Nick Hudson's narration was impeccable

Emotional and riveting

Story: As all books in this series, Love Him Wild is amazingly emotional and so difficult to pull away from! E.M. Lindsey created beautiful characters and told a complex story in a very mature way. It all felt very genuine and there were no punches held when it comes to pain and hurt. Then there is the healing that touched me to the very core. Amazing writing!
Narration: Nick Hudson narrated the 3 MCs and all the supporting characters brilliantly! All were easily discernible and the narration so easy to follow! Great skill!
