Great characters

Juniper and Fisher are a good couple. They support each other in ways that they each desperately need. This is largely a story about learning to trust. In fact, these two are so hesitant to rely on others that I was afraid they might not get together. But this is a Louise Bay story, so I knew that their friends and family would help them get that HEA.
The narrators did a great job with these characters. They captured all the humor and uncertainty and infatuation in the story. Ms. Brentmoor did an especially good job with Juniper's daughter.

Anything is possible when live is involved.

Anything with Shane East involved is going to be brilliant . Even when I don’t always like the subject I still purchase because the narration will change my mind.

Love Deep

Love Deep is the well written and excellent romance by Louise Bay which is the story of Juniper, an artist and single mom of Riley who works another job to support them, and Fisher, the owner of a recording label who comes to visit Colorado for work. Juniper and Fisher have instant chemistry and an intensive romance as his time is limited to a six week visit. This is a fantastic book and audio book which I highly recommend.

Will love be enough?

Love Deep is book 2 in the Colorado Club Billionaires, which is a spinoff from the New York Billionaires, and follows self made billionaire, Fisher, on a quest to find love and the answers to some long asked questions.

Fisher is in Colorado working with one of his recording artists. While he is there, he is going to take advantage of unlimited wings. As a child, he thought he had the perfect family. Until one day, his perception was destroyed. He felt like he had been lied to his whole life and now has trust issues. Years ago, after being undermined by a co-worker, it further extended his trust issues.

Juniper is a single mother to an eight year old firecracker. When she was in high school she had a dream of becoming an artist. But real life interfered and she gave up going to art school. She is a teaching assistant at the local elementary school and paints in her spare time.

When Fisher came to Star Falls the first time, during Love Fast, Juniper was immediately attracted to him. Sadly, he had no idea she was even in the bar when he and Byron showed up to have their famous wings. She watched him, but never said anything, or even introduced herself.

Now, Rosey is playing matchmaker. She is so happy to have found Byron that she wants all of her new friends to be as happy as she is. So she has decided to pair up Fisher and Juniper. Are these two ready for her matchmaker powers, or the draw they both immediately feel?

When Fisher realizes what a talented artist Juniper is, he contacts an acquaintance of his. She is very interested and makes a trip to Colorado as part of some other business she is working on. After speaking with Juniper and seeing her works in progress, as well as the finished pieces hanging in the Colorado Club, she is chomping at the bit to represent Juniper. But Juniper has hesitations. Her life is in Star Falls, not New York City. She is not a big city girl.

But when a blast from Fisher's past rears its ugly head, he uses Juniper as a sounding board. She listens to him and offers suggestions on why and next steps in dealing with the problem.

After speaking with his mates, Fisher has decided to confront his nemesis. But when he receives the full background check on him from Jack, he is shocked. Things from his past are now starting to make sense.

Will Fisher and Juniper be able to make it work out? Will Juniper decide to take a chance on herself? Will Fisher finally reconcile with his past so he can move forward? Will Riley's wish come true, or will she be disappointed?

This is a very moving story. Single mom stories always hit personal with me, but this one really hit with Juniper's fear of believing in herself. She is a strong woman, having raised Riley by herself, but she was shocked when Byron purchased most of her paintings for the Colorado Club. Then to have a manager want to represent her. She does not believe in herself as much as she should. So watching her learn that she really does have what it takes was an amazing scene.

Watching Fisher as his family's past is opened up for him is sad and heartbreaking, but it was what he needed to understand what really happened. His desire to never have children was based on his lack of information. He had no idea what was really going on with his parents, but he knew he never wanted a child of his to hurt the way he did. So when the truth comes out, he has a better understanding and it allows him to see that he does not have to hurt anyone.

I cannot wait for Love Hard. I need to know Jack's story. I need to know who can tame him. And I need to know if he can be my absolute favorite Colorado Club Billionaire.

Shane East is the perfect Brit to play Fisher. Yes he has the British accent, but it is not just that. It is his mannerisms and little sayings that bring life to Fisher. Samantha Brentmoor is one of my most favorite female narrators and she does not disappoint in this story. I loved her ability to play Juniper, Juniper's mother, Rosey and eight year old Riley. Such a range of voices.

Love and a kid.

A single mom romance done so well. Juniper is a focus mom, and it truly shows. She’s a great example of putting her child first while finding time for herself. Fisher isn’t really looking for love. Such a great romance that plays out the tropes in a wonderful manner. It’s a great balance of romance, family, and spice. Not everything is kid-centric, and they really do get time to form a connection.
