Publisher's summary

Travel from a Land of Skies isolated in space to civilisations flourishing underground, from a chaos curtain to sacred sites and more, in this epic fantasy/sci-fi omnibus. Lore of Arcana Omnibus includes The Infinity Mantle, The Kinfire Tree, The Drowned Throne, and The Dragon Circle and delves from the deep and forgotten past into a speculative future, knowing time cannot be truly measured. Time moves between realms and reality in a fashion contradictory to our present, and exposes creatures of myth and legend and fabled figures thought lost to antiquity. Lore of Arcana uncovers profound secrets and mysteries, but the true connection that serves to bind is the great Maghdim Medaillon, the ‘Secret Wisdom’ able to breach realms and time. One man strides through all, Maghdim Medaillon in one hand, sword in the other. He is the Pathfinder, Keeper of the Dragon, the ultimate architect and elixir of life. He is the secret, the kingdom, and the sacred space. He is Lifegiver and Destroyer. This is Rayne’s journey, he who is also Torrullin, descendant of a mighty bloodline, and this is a mighty tale.

should have been -2 Stars

This book was not easy to understand. I honestly believe the author thinks we don't need any kind of character development or world building at all? If you choose to write a book about another realm or somewhere/sometime in the future/past you really need to give the readers something to grasp onto. I tried another series;
(Lore of Reaume Omnibus Edition: Part One )
before this one, only to find out it was a follow up to this series. Okay, I told myself, I'll just get the series before & maybe it will make better sense. NOPE.
I need something like background & again, that world building, which is very important to me anyway. I'm sorry to knock this, as I wanted to like it. It was a great work & must have been difficult to create by the author, I just can't get into it.
Thanks, Avid Reader...

Slow start, but it builds to a complex masterpiece

Lore of Arcana Omnibus was something I picked up based off a recommendation by someone on Reddit, and I am glad I took it. If you're looking for a simple adventure book, then this is not your tale, the complexity of this story is pretty daunting, but once you wrap your head around what's going on, you will find yourself sucked in to a story with characters you will both love and hate. It's a long haul, but one that is well worth it.

Intriguing but complicated

It was alittle difficult to get into. The reader seemed flat. However, once into it I enjoyed it. The story was interesting and the characters fresh.

Not my cup of tea

I don’t usually do reviews but I also don’t usually start a book without finishing it, this is the first. An extremely difficult storyline to follow.

storyline drags across a wasteland of tedium

If you need something to put you to sleep at night, this is it. I was able to listen for a few hours but got tired of waiting for something to happen besides characters talking in monologs.

is there a story?

chapter 4 and I have no clue what this book is about... it's just describing people casing spells over and over like bedroom sentences in a harlequin......

going to try and return it.
