This story is great and engaging! I love Laura Ingalls Wilder. She is a talented writer.
However, what I disliked about this performance was Cherry Jones as the narrator. Her voice is too raspy, too harsh and too loud. It is very hard to listen to her.

As the 7th book in the series, I find that this one has been the best 1 yet. What an absolutely lovely story. As always, I mama I sincerely appreciate The detail that Laura has put into her stories. The characters are so well described as well as the situations and the surroundings. I found myself wanting to know what happened next and next and eager to start the next book.. I also thoroughly enjoy the narrator and think she does a wonderful job of bringing Laura's personality as well as everyone else's to the forefront of the story And I highly recommend this series of audio books to anyone.

Best one yet.
