Insightful and helpful information

A lot of great, insightful information in this book. It isn't written or organized like an instruction manual, but instead is like an informational guide. It is written with care, as well as emotional and intellectual intelligence. The illumination and enlightenment is appreciated.

It’s all about energy

This narration and read was good and highlights the importance of addressing our emotional health as it relates to raising our energy vibration or frequency. I liked that Savanna addresses the lower realms and some of the common pitfalls. It was also interesting to read about the seven planes and the ways our spirit guides help us.

Good overview.

Pros: this is an overall good overview of information.

Cons: the book is really short. It does not get as in-depth as a “guide” would typically be. It goes over 1 technic of how to astral project, but not in great detail. I think it would do good to have gone a little further and explored this more.

My main problem was the narrator. She has a nice voice, but at times I felt it hard to listen or absorb the information as her voice shifts were more of someone that would be narrating a fictional novel.

Buy the Paperback

I should have heeded other reviewer’s comments regarding the narration. I think I would have rated the book itself higher, but for the narrator. I felt like I was listening to Alvin the Chipmunk, complete with odd sentence inflection and awkward starts and stops. I listen to a lot of audio books and this is only the second time I’ve not been able to acclimate my ear to the narrator’s tone and pentameter so that I may actually absorb what is being said. I feel bad being so disparaging of this narrator, but she needs to stick to fiction. Every sentence is so overly dramatized it’s like fingernails on a chalkboard to my ear. Very disappointed.

I like the audiobook but not the narrator's voice

I learned a lot overall, the personal anecdotes were helpful. I didn't care for the voice of the narrator at all, it was not for me, I felt it was not warm at all and a bit too formal for a book like this. Also, how she would have some emphasis on certain things was also just weird.

But let's break down the pros/cons from my perspective:

Pros:

- New material, good content and structure
- Good anecdotes, but not too much
- Explains realms of the Spirit and dimensions in simple terms
-

Cons:
- Narrator's voice just wasn't for me, high pitched and weird fluctuations in tone
- Author imposes some of her personal views on meat, which I don't think were that objective. If you are of high vibration, the polarities won't effect you actually, nothing can, you can't be seen by the lower realms anyways. This is also not a book on nutrition. Everything in our Universe is used/renewed energy, so I don't think she explains this well with food references. Obviously you should eat a well-balanced diet (if you eat meat it doesn't impede you from raising your vibration, totally don't agree with the author on this, and that polarity in thinking feeds more polarity) so implying eating meat is not good, isn't okay with me. It's not 'bad' and some people cannot just eat only vegetables and fruit, they need balance. Not everyone is the same.

I support free range animal and meats though. But this false notion that you are eating energy of dead is just not a high vibration to me. You can argue that plants as living beings are eaten while alive, but that's not the point. Studies show plants can know when they are being eaten too. The point is we have to learn how things work and not make assumptions from a human lens, as sometimes we don't know everything even if we are further along a path than others.

Having gratitude and reverence for all things is important what you think also affects your diet, if you think bad, bad, what do you think will come from your gestation of foods, labeling good, bad, good, bad... Isn't that polarity itself creating polarity again and again?

Everything in moderation is the natural homeostasis of life, to maintain balance, planet, Universe - when we are in optimum alignment, mind, body, spirit, etc then we are in the God Grid.
