For the most part, a good zombie series.

I almost lost any interest with the 1st book. I understand the idea of it, setting up characters' back stories, however there were just too many to keep up with right in the very beginning. I did though push through that. I became invested in several characters and glad I listened through to the end. Even had a triumphant tear or two at the finale. The narration was very easy to listen to. Sometimes it can take awhile to get use to a reader and sometimes I just can't get past that and stop before I get too deep. Zombies are my go-to listen and this one provided that fix for me.

A really great series!!

I have to admit there were times during this series I thought to my self what is this 60 year old woman reading this for? but I have to say I became so involved with the characters i couldn't stop, I had to see what happened to every character good and bad. the characters were so real and very relatable. the narration was also very good. This narrators was great with the men and the women. the story also had a good ending for some.

The CHARACTERS!

I absolutely loved the character development in this series. It left nothing unfinished in the end. Every last minute was a non stop thrill ride. “We got em good didn’t we MITCHY!” Solomon’s character was flipping awesome! What are you doing still reading this review go listen to the BOOK!

• Survival stories that feel raw and unfiltered
• Characters who feel flawed instead of heroic

Then yeah… this a solid, underrated series that doesn’t get enough love.

Good listen

Overall I did enjoy this story. I did feel like most of the death scenes were a little forced and hard to believe. There also were a few too many coincidences that helped the story move on. That said the characters were well done. The narrator was excellent.

Solid Story and well written action

I consume a lot of zombie media and I really enjoyed this author. The characters were well written, and the action was awesome. And it was creative
