NEEDED MORE STORY LESS SEX!!

Narration by Jim Frangione was not as good as he usually is. Sort of Flat!!
This is Timur and Ashe's story. I think Leopards Run would have been much better if it were a novella and not full length story. Eighty percent (75%) of the book is very hot erotic sex. Which is interwoven in the story. Don't get me wrong I love a hot erotic romance story. But it at least has to have 50% storyline and Leopards Run did Not give me that. Every time we get into a dialog with Timur and Ashe or actions scenes it's interrupted with a sex scene. This caused me to loose the storyline. After the sex scene I would have to ask myself what happen in the last part of the story. That's not good!!

I did enjoy the bits of story that we got. I loved revisiting old characters from other Leopard series books. I really liked Timur and Ashe they are written well. I just want more story and a little less sex.

Disappointing and Way Too Much Sex. Boring

I was disappointed in this book. It had more sex than usual and it became so common that I wanted to figure out how to skip over it. I loved these books because the leopards were strong and HOT and always found a mate and had incredible sex. This book was more about sex interspersed with the storyline. Timor is the brother of Theodore and both were raised by a terrible father in Russia. They escaped and have become crime bosses in America to clean up the criminal elements within the leopard community. We are back to seeking out the human traders and the drug dealers and it takes us back to Louisiana and to Evangeline’s family. The story ends with lots of blood shed and killing of bad leopards. I listened to this book in audible and, Jim Frangione, the narrator, is excellent as usual. He is the leopard men. I hope Book 12 takes us to a less dark place. The best book for me remains Burning Wild,

More sex than story

An occurring problem with the leopard series starting to happen is there's more intimate scenes than usual and kills the mood. I understand that it adds to the fact the females are in heat but there feels like there's just too many scenes where you kinda just grind your teeth til it's over so you can hear the main story continue.

Another masterpiece. I had to listen to it twice

Another great adventure and the hot romance is sweet too. I had to listen twice just to make sure that I didn't miss any details. Amazing.

Struggled

I’m a huge fan of Christine Feehan however I really struggled getting through this book. I feel like the readers digest condensed version would have been better. Very long-winded.

I wanted to like this book!

I am a big fan of this author and have almost all of her Dark (Carpathian), Shadow Riders and Drake Sisters books. This book is way to similar to her Shadow Riders stories. The only difference is, this book is about a family of Jaguars shifters. The beginning is slow and then there's a lot of bad language and sex. Her other books also have bad language and sex, but those books have well-defined characters and good storylines. I don't plan to keep this book in my library. Jim Fragione narration was good.

🌻As good as any book, in this series!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

This book had all the elements, I love, in a Shifter romance. It had action, intrigue, romance, hot, sexy scenes all wrapped up in a bit of humor. It also included updates on some of my favorite characters; what more can a romance lover want? I know.....it also included a Heroine that was sweet, caring and a total badass!

If this is the first book of the series you’ve considered listening to, I strongly suggest starting at the beginning of the Leppard series, many, of which, are included in the Escape Package. Be aware, however, that all of these books include graphic violence, references to rape, sexual and physical abuse and sex trafficking. The sexual encounters between the Hero and Heroine are very descriptive and the Hero is dominant and aggressive. There are many sexual encounters, therefore, if thanks not your cup of tea, you should choose something from another author. I love all of Christine Feehan’s books, but I realize that her writing style isn’t for everyone.

Another good read.

I love tbe Leopard series but have found that the later books have increasingly focused on the sex and less focus on the story. I found it detracted and distracted from the story. I found myself wanting to skip the sex scenes as they were getting monotonous and somewhat annoying. I'm all for a steamy love scene but not when it is so repetative and appears as page filler to plump out a great story. That being said I still really enjoyed the book and love the characters . Jim Frangione was great, and his narration and characterizations excellent.
