What joy feels like

I read a lot of books this year. This one made me the happiest. It’s cozy and kind and lovely and I’m going to read it again - like right away!

A great first book!

I already enjoyed Travis Baldree for his reading on the Cradle series.
That's why I bought a book that was 6 hours shorter than I will typically spend a credit on.
I'm so glad I did. The story was sweet and uplifting while not shirking away from darkness. this is a great story about building a new life and choosing to live in a new way.

Delightful!

If you want a fantasy full of swashbuckling and epic battles, this book is NOT for you. But if you want a fantasy with interesting characters, a lot of heart, and even more coffee, you will love this one! It’s a classic example of “cozy fantasy”, and will leave you with a warm feeling. I really loved it!

delightfully cozy

I found this while looking for a new story at work. This has to be the most delightful fantasy setting I've had in awhile. I could feel the atmosphere and taste the pastries basically. To the author a thank you for this story and to others please listen it's not a waste.

Just Great

Always been a great narrator this first book by Baldree does not disappoint. A fun light hearted story which is a great break from the traditional hard hitting fantasy/litrpg genre. Highly recommended
