Publisher's summary

Intelligence can be deadly.

Lazarus is careful, calculated, but most notably, a terrifyingly sadistic individual. He doesn't have a type, he doesn't make mistakes; the murders are violent, and no one is safe.

Scarlett Madden has it all, the perfect life, a loving husband, a beautiful son, and what most others take for granted: her safety. But nothing good can last forever.

Now, everything has changed; Scarlett is terrified. Terrified of the man stalking her, the man making her feel like a prisoner in her own home. With tensions rising and Scarlett refusing to give in, the torment only escalates into an even more horrific reality, forcing her to fight for her life and the life of her family in the ultimate test of survival.

Addictively fast-paced, intelligently authored, and truly gripping to the very end!

The most gripping psychological thriller of 2018!

Creepy but predictable

Enjoyed the book even though it was a bit predictable. I think the narration could have been better. He didn’t really change his voice much when switching characters, even going from a man to a woman or vice versa, so I ended up having to go back in order to make sense of what was happening. There were a few times where he’d repeat the last few words of a sentence, but it wasn’t often enough to be a problem. Definitely a creepy story though.
