SUPER INTERESTING!

Super interesting! What if.... Lincoln had survived, and not been killed by John Wilkes Booth's bullet?
This is Part 2 of the Series, but the first in the series I've listened to. But, now I'm going to go back and listen to the first in the series, and then re-listen to this one! :)

I initially found it hard to read alternative history fiction, but I found myself engaged and immersed in this one, it was really fascinating and believable.

Really great writing,and enjoyed the narration also.
I'd definitely recommend it!

Pretty good story, but narration gets in the way

Interesting alternate reality story of post-Civil War America, but the narration made it sluggish to get through. The narrator is halting in an almost William Shatner type of way. He seemed bored. Though I appreciated that he didn't try to do high pitched women's voices. I stuck with it because I enjoyed the story, but a more animated narrator would have made this a better listen. Maybe get this one in print or on ebook.

Loved It From Beginning To End!

A month ago I listened to the first book and fell in love with it. Went ahead and downloaded the second book. I literally could not stop listening to it and I fell asleep. Woke up this morning and I remember everything. I’m excited to listen to the next novel by TJ. Loved it from beginning to end!

Great story-telling woven with history

Great story-telling woven with historical events that gives it some grounding, and let’s you experience the time period of post civil-war USA. The story keeps moving, has good tension throughout, and has a satisfying climax and resolution.
