learning German tool/ Deutsch lernen
To help with language learning, I was advised to listen to books read in that language. But not just any book. It is pointless if you have no idea what is being said. A language partner once told me to pick books that I know very well in English first. Growing up in Christian church, I have heard children's bible stories all of my life. I know these stories well. I down loaded this book and was wonderfully surprised when I understood almost all of what was said from the very first time I listened. The stories are well told, at a pace that is not too slow but not too quick for A2/B1 level German learners. I also love the songs sung by children. They are more challenging but a wonderful additional tool to use as songs help with learning as well. /
Um das Erlernen von Sprachen zu erleichtern, wurde mir geraten, mir Bücher anzuhören, die in dieser Sprache gelesen wurden. Aber nicht irgendein Buch. Es ist sinnlos, wenn man keine Ahnung haben, was gesagt wird. Ein Sprachpartner sagte mir einmal, ich solle mir zuerst Bücher aussuchen, die ich sehr gut in Englisch kenne. Ich bin in der christlichen Kirche aufgewachsen und habe mein ganzes Leben lang Kinderbibelgeschichten gehört. Ich kenne diese Geschichten sehr gut. Ich lud dieses Buch herunter und war wundervoll überrascht, als ich fast alles verstand, was gesagt wurde, als ich das erste Mal zuhörte. Die Geschichten werden in einem Tempo erzählt, das für Deutschlerner der Stufen A2 / B1 nicht zu langsam, aber nicht zu schnell ist. Ich liebe auch die Lieder, die von Kindern gesungen werden. Sie sind herausfordernder, aber ein wunderbares zusätzliches Werkzeug, die Lieder auch beim Lernen helfen.
